Wow, we could not speak more highly of our experience at the chateau. First off, the property itself is beautiful. To have the opportunity to stay at what could even be called a castle is amazing. Not only is the property itself well maintained and picturesque, but the views from the chateau are just as lovely.
It is also a winery, so there could be a few people there doing tastings, which we would recommend, as you can easily sit with a bottle anywhere on the grounds and enjoy yourself.
Despite being a few years old, the property offers all the modern amenities you could want. We found our room to be spacious and comfortable. We wish we had more time to spend here.
The staff were knowledgable and friendly, and were patient with two tourists who don't speak French.
We would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable experience in the area.

One of the best lodging experiences we've ever had.

Château de Pierreclos was one of the highlights of our trip. We came here a bit insecure if we would be ok, but from the beginning we were helped perfectly by Leonnie. We could do a wine tour the day after. The tour was first through the building, which was great. After the great tour, we had some great wines, where Leonnie explained the wine tasting process so well, especially as we do not know much about wine. This was just fantastic!

Fantastic experience

Chateau de Pierreclos  is a beautiful castle in a beautiful location.  Rooms are large and modern with luxury amenities.   The hosting family is extremely friendly.  The food is wonderful and plentiful.  The wines are nice too.  We will definitely return.    PS.  I am glad I don't have their heating bill!

Wow.

One of the best afternoons spent listening to Tom talk so knowledgeably about the wines produced from this region and the estate. We have always enjoyed the wine from this region but after today’s session feel more informed about what we are drinking and how produced. It is obviously a very popular place and whilst being rushed off his feet Tom still made the effort to share his knowledge and passion for the products, answering all of our questions. Would definitely recommend this place for a visit.

Fantastic wine tasting experience

Chateau de Pierreclos is just as impressive as you see in the photos. We stayed in the Count's Suite which is very large and very comfortable. No air-con but the walls are so thick it doesn't need it (still good wifi). The pool is really great if you get the weather! Breakfast is simple but good. There is no food available in the evenings but that - for us - was part of the attraction - there is nobody fussing about you in the evenings. Instead you are left to relax and enjoy your stay. We went out to a restaurant in the area one night - a drive rather than a walk away - and had some breads and cheese in the garden on another. Could easily have stayed longer than our three nights. Highly recommended.

Voyage de Noces

We loved our 3 night stay at Chateau de Pierreclos. We stayed in room Suzanne, which was so lovely. It captured the feel and architectural history of the Chateau with its giant wooden beams and thick walls, but was modern at the same time. The bed was large and comfortable, the shower was great, hot with a lot of pressure. The room had great cross ventilation for warm nights.
The best part was the people. Anne, Floron and Charlotte are all warm, friendly and helpful people and a joy to spend time with.
The location is great as there are many villages nearby to visit as well as wine tastings. Of course there is winetasting at the Chateau as well, and the tour of the castle is great, with interesting explanations along the way.
Parking is on site.
Breakfast was perfect each day, with a lot to choose from and perfect soft boiled eggs made by Anne.

A really nice, comfortable and peaceful place to stay.

Oh, and they have a pool.

Terrific rooms, great environment and location

Good family room in beautiful old castle. 
Beds and bathroom was well kept.
Excellent wine producer, we really enjoyed the tasting.
Nice breakfast, no restaurant at the hotel though. 
We would be happy to return some day!

We stayed here for a night. Really wonderful place. Very cosy, wine is delicious. The owner and her family very friendly and hospitable.

Rooms are much more beautiful than we saw on booking.

 Strongly recommend. 


Great place

We visited this winery as part of a tour.  The buildings and grounds are beautiful, would love to come back and stay at the hotel sometime.  The wine tasting was very interesting and well organized, but the wines were not really to our taste.
