Charming hotel in the best location in a wonderful fishing village/town. Rather eccentric (French) hours of checking in but the staff are really lovely. Breakfast is excellent and great value and frankly there's no alternative in town! We will be back, hopefully many times on our sorties to Loire Atlantique!

The fourth time we've stayed at this hotel, and nothing has changed, still the same friendly place we found on our first visit, every room they've put us in has had a sea view, and it's a lovely little town. Everything in the hotel is clean, and the rooms are comfortable, breakfast is excellent, but the feature we like best is the staff, all are helpful and friendly all the time, which always makes staying here a pleasurable experience.

A very pleasant typically French hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a good location, it's in a nice quiet little seaside town with good restaurants. Some of the hotel decor was a bit tired, but it was all clean and breakfast was good. We liked the place enough to book two more nights on our return journey, so recommended, and we'll probably stay there again. Not really a complaint, but there's a restaurant that gets good TA reviews attached to the hotel, and outside August it's only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings. We'd have been glad to be able to use it one Wednesday evening when there was steady torrential rain outside. There are several good eating alternatives within a few minutes walk though, so not exactly a disaster.

The best part of our stay was visiting the Océarion in nearby Croisic. We've visited aquariums all over Europe, and though small, this was one of the best.

Great hotel in a brilliant location in the centre of Piriac Sur Mer. We had a comfortable quiet twin room. The hotel has parking right outside which is free and you are right by the sea. Breakfast can be added for extra and was a good selection. Would definitely stay there again.

We keep coming back.

An enjoyable small hotel in an interesting part of France.

Great stay

We knew it would be basic but our room had old Lino flooring with not even a rung, old tired walls and a mouldy bathroom ceiling. All areas very tired. Check in was not welcoming. The guy didn't even look up when we arrived. Very abrupt and not friendly. On the good side the girl who served us breakfast was delightful. Along with disappointing hotel the weather was also not good. We were due to stay two nights but checked out after the first night.

Not what we expected

FAULTY TOWERS it is. 

No hot shower for 2 days. No soap either.
 
Asked for 8am check out, the owner reluctantly turned up at 8:30am after being called.

Room 2 is basically a cupboard with a shower, basin and toilet with no separation. Toilet being 1mt from the single bed, good for a highly incontinent guest or a child.

Other double rooms are average no cupboard mismatched shelving, bathroom separation is flimsy. 

Beautiful location, shame the hotel is not looked after.

Avoid the hotel and enjoy oysters and white wine on terrace when the restaurant is open.

Faulty towers

Very poor quality bed, furniture and bathroom. Wifi did not work.  Location was wonderful, the town was wonderful,  the hotel was terrible. On arriving the receptionist said we were being upgraded to a different room, but during our stay we noticed the plumber working in our original booked room. 
The staff and management were courteous but generally unhelpful, the hotel is long past its hay day
