We stayed there 3 nights with our little dog. The location is wonderful and the hosts are kind and helpful people. The house is very nice and clean, you can use a pool outside. The morning breakfast is super! You can taste tipical  home made jam. 

The best stay in Provence

Just stayed at Mas Cassaireu for the fourth time. All I can say is that if you want the perfect place to stay in Provence look no further. Once again Loredana and Pascal were wonderful hosts and it just makes our visit so enjoyable.

Fourth visit

First of all - please know - that this is a lovely property but it is in a very industrial area so when you first drive to it you will be dismayed by the power lines and the factory warehouses you pass on the approach. That said, once you get to the property you will be pleased by the calm and the beauty the owners Laradonna and Pasqual have cultivated to make their property an oasis in the madness that can be Provence (especially if you drive at high tourist season to see the lavender fields). We chose this property precisely for its location, close to the highway to allow for easier day trips to the North, South, East and West. Within a two hour radius you can truly see the gems of Provence and then return to a lovely old farm property that has been carefully recreated into this small, inviting bed and breakfast. Each room (4 on the property) has been designed to give you a private terrace space to enjoy the mornings or late afternoons. The showers are thoroughly modern and the towels soft and rich. The bed was so comfortable that we slept so soundly each night! The hosts are so welcoming and go out of there way to provide you with maps, ideas about the cities and sites to see, and restaurant recommendations locally that include their personal favorites. The breakfasts are ample and fresh with lovely jellies and jams. You can't go wrong.  The pool is so inviting at the end of a long day of sightseeing or hiking. You can stay closer to the heart of Provence but then you sacrifice some mobility and it will cost you. We wanted to make it to the coast for a beach day which really drew us to this more central property. Enjoy!

Lovely Oasis!

We stayed here in June for the fourth time, its difficult to stay away one you've been here. Looking at the other reviews here, particularly the last one I concur with everything said. The Mas is so welcoming and comfortable and Loredana and Pascal are such outstanding hosts, always providing good advice and being zoo helpful.

Each room has its own access from the grounds and its own terrace, equipped with a small table and chairs as well as a couple of loungers. After a busy day, you can sip a glass of chilled wine on your terrace under a pergola covered with vines and bunches of grapes. If you are really honoured, India the friendly dog and maybe a cat will also keep you company while you relax to the sound of the cigales. In each room you will find a small fridge with bottles of water and bottles of wine that you may purchase at a very reasonable price. For me this is a great bonus as you can start your sightseeing equipped with an iced bottle of water and don't need to waste time looking for a shop in order to quench your thirst during those hot provencal days.

As mentioned by others Loredana's breakfast is outstanding and is one of the two best ones I've had at all the B&B we've ever stayed at. The choice is varied and besides tea and coffee there is herbal teas, a selection of juices, lots of fresh bread, croissants, fruit, jams.. you get the idea, but especially fresh cake every morning which I just can't resist.

The location of the Mas is quite unique. It is just off the motorway and very close to Cavaillon but somehow it is in the countryside and you will not hear any traffic noise. You may hear the occasional bray from a donkey in the neighbouring farm, which only adds to the ambiance. Being in this location means that you can go into Cavaillon for dinner and its only about a 5 to 10 minute drive. Lorendana recommended a number of very good restaurants there. If you want to go further afield you can drive to St Remy de Provence and there you will fine a great selection of restaurants.

While on the subject of location, this is also the perfect place for sightseeing. There are so many places you can visit easily by car. From the Roman theatre at Orange further North to the Camargue in the south, Nimes in the west and Aix in the east - all of these can be visited in a day.

But you don't need to travel far to see great sights. The medieval hilltop towns of the Luberon, such as Gordes are just a short distance away. In the other direction you have the towns and villages of the Alpilles such as Les Baux and St Remy. So much to see - you will want to return to Loredanas.

Stay here and you will have a fabulous vacation.

No Better Place to see Provence

Just back after spending a magnificent 8 days in Mas Cassairau d'Auseu. I stayed with my husband and 15 year old daughter in a room that was very spacious, spotlessly clean and very relaxing. The room even had a mini fridge which was already filled with soft drinks, water and alcohol (we just used our own). The owners are very welcoming and friendly. Loredana is a perfect hostess, full of information and nothing is any trouble. We were even provided with a road map of Provence with roads and points of interest highlighted. It feels like you are in a secluded oasis but are actually very close to the major roads and towns. The pool area was sooooo relaxing. My daughter made a special friend in India (the dog). Breakfast was super - freshly baked bread and cake, homemade jams, croissants, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, tea, coffee, etc. Loved all, especially the cakes. Anyone looking for a good central location to explore Provence do not look any further, you won't regret it. Thank you so much, Loredana, Pascal and India, for a wonderful holiday.

A Little Piece of Heaven

We stayed here for a night on our trip back to Calais, it was fabulous. So pretty, an oasis just outside the town. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. Will definitely stay here again, and have already recommended this to my friends and colleagues.
