What a beautiful campsite. We stayed here as a family of 5 2yr 7yr and 13yr and although on arrival it doesn’t look like much, we had a fantastic stay. The super lodges are amazing a ‘glamping’ style stay with EVERYTHING you will need! A hob, kettle toaster, microwave and fridge freezer. Also kitted out with plates cutlery pots and pans bin, washing up bowl cups glasses even sweeping brushes. They even provide a little welcome box with washing up liquid sponges and a black bag!! We didn’t pay extra for bedding took our own sleeping bags but this wasn’t necessary as they proved sheets and a quilt that was enough through the summer. We took games although reception had more than enough out door and indoor. The pool was easily accessible and the bar area was lovely in the sunshine. The evening entertainment was lovely although we didn’t get to enjoy it so much with a sleepy toddler. The surroundings are beautiful and one of the best beaches we have been too. The staff were absolutely lovely a special thank you to the girl on reception who was with us during our stay she supplied us with a push chair! First aid for a clumsy toddler and had all the information about things to do and see. We visited a zoo about an hour away and an aquarium 30 mins away. Lots to do and see we almost didn’t have enough time! Reception shop stocked milk bread and some essentials, you could also pre order French bread 🥖 and croissants. You can hire bikes there is a volley ball net, a small park and a ping pong table. So much to offer although not outstanding on first impressions I can not fault this campsite one bit. Only 35 mins from the ferry port so easy to get too if following a satnav. They are so accommodating having our super lodge ready by 9am for us to check in and offer late check outs. I wish I had got the girl on receptions name she spoke really good English and she was just super thank you!! We will be back!!
