I rode through this area on a long bicycle ride from Spain to Norway and couldn't have been happier with my decision to stay here. Set in wonderful grounds on the outskirts of the town this delightful hotel has it all. An accommodating and welcoming hostess. Large light filled rooms that have been tastefully decorated. A breakfast fit for a king and a tranquil garden in which to sit on a peaceful warm spring evening. Add to that a lovely small swimming pool, It is a 20 minute walk into the centre of town where this is an abundance of dining options for dinner. If I am ever back in that part of the world I would definitely stay again.

Lovely and well run establishment

  On the way to the coast we decided to stop off and visit the Fortress at Mornas  with an overnight stop nearby
 We found Pont Saint Esprit sort of by accident and then Domaine la Vigie on Booking.com, which looked okay on the website. 
Having driven from Calais we did not arrive until quite late and the gates were shut. We also had a car with a trailer.
Be warned, the road approaching is very steep and the turn-in very very tight. However, the husband was soon outside, the gates were open and we were ushered inside.
The inside of this building is stunning, the 2 bedrooms we had were beautiful and fantastically appointed in period furniture, whilst the bathrooms are more modern and work.
The views we had were lovely and it was such a pleasure to wake up in such beautiful surroundings. 
Breakfast is good and included. Try the home made yoghurt it is divine.
The family who run it could not be more helpful and one night was definitely not enough.  We will be back
