A really great place to stay. Its run by really good people. Great facilities good restaurants and bars and supermarket. Great experience apart from a few unpleasant experiences with German visitors. Would definitely come back again.

Viva La  Chiappa

My wife and I visited in mid-June'23 having previously visited in 2004 (19 years). We were delighted to find that the only changes had been positive ones. The staff in reception and all venues were extremely helpful, especially as our  capability for speaking French is very low and they were all fluent in English. We flew to Figari, had a hire can and arrived in less than an hour, stopping on the way for wine etc.
We had a bungalow near the Boule courts and restaurant and were delighted with the peace and quiet. At night it was silent and the curtains kept all the light out. We played Boule (petanque/Bocca) and mini golf and there were options to play table tennis; tennis; 2 swimming pools and other acitivities. The site was clean and well-maintained. The bungalow was clean and well equipped with a good shower and an area to sit and relax outside. Massage with Charlotte was excellent!  We visited Porto Vecchio and Bonifacio. The access to phone signals and internet was optional which added to our ability to relax uninterupted. We will endeavour to visit again without leaving it another 19 years.

Perfect place to relax and meet other naturists.

We are currently staying at La Chiappa. We booked 25 days - but most of the facilities are not operating due to COVID 19. No Bar Plage, no Bistrot, no Sauna, no Workshop, no animation. I understand totally the managements reasons for this. But 25 days is beginning to feel a little boring with only the beach facilities and one restaurant. We asked to have a refund for the last day so we could stay in Portovecchio the nearby town. Even though it is 12 days away back came the answer from reception - “No”. I feel this is unfair. We are paying for over three weeks, I know it is their policy. Do you think it is fair?

No refund - shocking policy

This was actually our 3rd choice camping naturist on the island but we did not like the first one so continued, the 2nd one we arrived at a massive brief rain/wind storm and we thought it to be a bit too far out in the sticks so ended up here. Is it a 5 star venue, not really, 4 star at the most, but, we felt so comfortable there that we stayed on the camping nearly 2 weeks, and an additional week in one of the chalets as our car broke down on the leaving day! You can do easy naturist walk to the next bay to the west or to the east it's also possible to walk a while. The camping is big and busy so you can do some wandering on the actual camping too, au naturel all. No fixed pitches to peak off, you see a spot, you park your tent or caravan. Facilities adequate and reasonably clean. Nice beach and a restaurant (not au naturel) which is not the cheapest. You can also dive on the camping as it has a full dive company located for courses and just diving. We really relaxed here and enjoyed the island.

Relax in total freedom

I spent 10 days here in bungalow with a/c with a kitchenette.  Two swimming pools, a big beach, restaurant, supermarket and large campground were all part of this complex.  You need a car if you want to travel around.  There is a mini bus that travels to Porto Vecchio a couple times a day.  You have walk a mile to the main road to catch this bus.  One thing this place needs is a ATM, if you want to use cash instead of a credit card.  The nearest cash machine is Porto Vecchio.  Being at the end a peninsula you will enjoy a great naturist vacation.  They ask you to cover up in some of the public places.

A little village

Wonderful place to start naturism with good comfort and a great organization. Camping very big, clean, helpful staff. Very quiet and relaxing close to beautiful beaches of south Corse, good restaurant and bar too.

Wonderful naturist camping

The location of La Chiappa can only be described as excellent. At the end of a peninsula, it feels very far away from everything, and boasts a wonderful sheltered bay with two beautiful beaches. Another wonderful beach is a short hike away along the coast.

The resort has a well-equipped small supermarket, two swimming pools, a good restaurant (one of the few places in Corsica that serves real Italian pizza, not the crap with Emmental cheese!), a bar, a diving and sailing school.

We did not use the camping ground, but it looked very pretty and the amenities seem perfectly adequate. We rented one of the largest, most modern bungalows and were quite happy with it even though the bed was a bit on the short side.

The other category bungalows, however, could use some refurbishment. They seem more or less stuck in the 1970s and are not at all up to a modern standard.

On a side note: La Chiappa had some problems with wild boars/pigs in the past. We did not hear or see any this year, so it seems like this has been resolved.

Outstanding location, mainly basic accommodation

My wife and I entered on a day pass (7 euro each). Fantastic value and such a beautiful peninsula. Nice beaches and possible to swim, although there are some stones and seaweed entering the water. Extensive grounds including a good beach bar, particularly if one wants to eat after 3 pm when the fuller menu kicks in. The best feature was the pool area - 2 x gorgeous pools adjacent to the beach. The bigger pool was huge and not crowded. Lots of sunbeds, the only gripe being the total lack of shade. A pity about that because at 33 degrees shade is important. The dress code was fully naked by the pools and on the beach; for the rest of the area people wore all sorts or nothing. The staff were all friendly and and the reception staff were particularly welcoming. That helps to put first timers at ease so they can enjoy the experience which was overwhelmingly populated by mixed married couples; few children in June when we were there. All in all a really enjoyable experience which we repeated on a second day visit and will definitely want to repeat next year.
