1) A warm home 2) a nice room (and clean) + a nice swimming pool. 3) Useful and lightly maintained 4) Lunch at the top Too bad it was only a step along the way... but nothing will stop us from going back.

Just a perfect welcome from Agnes and Francis who do not hesitate to tell their guests the right addresses and tell the local story. Their old home is just gorgeous with very comfortable rooms, decorated with Chinese objects when traveling. Breakfast is very rich with homemade products such as jams and cakes. A beautiful, well-rested stage.

A SUPER stage

Thanks to Agnès and Fabrice for their hospitality! Very clean room and neat and atypical decoration, garden, terrace and swimming pool very appreciated! breakfast (all homemade) was one of my best times with a lot of exchanges with Agnès. Thank you also for your advice (restaurants, walks, winemakers) we were not disappointed!!!

That's great.

We were 6 cyclists always glad to arrive somewhere at the end of our day. We all thought Teranga was wonderful, and far exceeded any expectations we may have had. Agnes and Francis were really warm and welcoming,instantly made us feel at home. They were  interesting to talk to (helped by Agnes's perfect English) and really informative about the area. We loved our rooms, the swimming pool, the garden, and the walk down to the village to eat at Chez Maria...a really authentic French experience. The next day we ate a delicious breakfast outside and wished we could have stayed longer. Altogether a wonderful stay.

Worth a detour!

Situated an easy and direct few-minute drive to the heart of Cahors, is the Bed & Breakfast; owned and operated by most delightful, well-traveled hosts Agnes & Francis. 

Upon arrival, our hosts welcomed us very generously with some lovely conversation and a glass of delicious local wine. Agnes was very willing to be our travel advocate and helped us to select a great restaurant for dinner and reserved it on our behalf. She was also kind to ask them in advance about our dietary restrictions, a relief, as my French language skills are limited.

There are 3 rooms, any of which I’d have been pleased to stay in. We chose the African-themed room with separate shower and restroom. The rooms themselves are all very charming, with large shuttered windows opening to gorgeous views of vineyards and the picture-perfect scenery of the Lot Valley. The bed was large and comfortable, and I slept very well.

Breakfast deserves its own 5-Star review. Lemon poppy cake, croissants, & sliced bread. 2 kinds of sumptuous butters, 3 homemade jams (my husband Craig nearly drank the apricot lavender jam it was so good). And Francis’s homemade apple compote was a highlight for me. Coffee & teas in plentiful supply. Our stomachs were full well into the afternoon. 

We wish our trip would have been longer, and hope we can come back someday.

So comfortable - A Hidden Gem!!!

Very helpful and friendly owners

The house is ideally located in comparison to Cahors, as for the hospitality and availability of Agnès and Francis, there is nothing to blame. Their breakfasts are delicious, varied and the little plus we liked a lot: fresh orange juice pressed by Francis every morning, as well as the homemade red fruit salad, which we had on Sunday.The comfort of the room is perfect with a 160 bed and an adjacent bathroom with 2 sinks, and the décor is original. We strongly recommend a stay in Teranga for those who want to taste the spirit.

A pleasant stay in Teranga

A very nice quiet house, with spacious and very well decorated rooms. The hosts are charming, the very nice swimming pool is heated and finally a cozy breakfast taken in a bucolic setting.

Three nice quiet places

Charming B&B a short distance from Cahors. Great base to visit the Lot. The house is very beautiful, idem dicasi for garden and pool. Inside it is tastefully furnished. Room very comfortable. Very good breakfast served with courtesy. Courtesy and available managers. Good quality price ratio.

We were very welcome at Agnès and Francis with their advice, their availability, the comfort of the Afrika room, the heated swimming pool.
