RECOMMENDED to live

On our way to Cahors, we stayed in this French lodge, and fortunately we only stayed one night in a somewhat old room with kind people on the ceiling, but a good breakfast with lovely landlords.

For one night

Very good experience at the Clos Grand. It is true that the hotel needs refurbishment but this does not mean a good stay: very good reception, clean rooms, good beds, a quiet hotel, free shady parking, clean pool, very kind and attentive staff.

Stay calm

We stayed at this hotel for three days this time, the staff is very hospitable, the kitchen is delicious and generous, the rooms are air-conditioned and well equipped, and we will be happy to return.

To recommend without moderation...

We wanted to break a longer journey at Cahors. First of all, the plus points. The room was clean, as was the bathroom. The WiFi is fast and the air conditioning efficient. The room itself (14) was in the annexe and has no window although the door is glass. We had the breakfast and there was a good if basic selection. We stayed on a Monday night so the restaurant wasn’t open. Less good; no water, coffee, anything in the room and the bathroom is really tired and not only is old fashioned but was falling apart in places. I’d describe it as adequate for one night but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay longer.

Adequate for one night.

A disaster: they had a year to use the gift, and they kindly apologize for not coming until six months after they were given the gift. Answer: COVID is back! when they didn't even have to apologize. The bottle of wine had turned around, they didn't want to know, it was almost full on the table. They didn't take the cheese on the menu, but they got paid for the coffee! Unpleasant waitress. This restaurant is really not what it was a few years ago. We're not ready to work there. I'm not from Cahors yet, I'm back and I have no interest in anything other than disappointment.

Restaurant: Gift meal for our parents (a lovely elderly couple)

Very relaxing place. We use it as a hub to travel to spain. But we allways say oh we should stay for a few days and visit cahors. The moment you arrive you can relax. A lovely terras, a parc, a pool. The restaurant offers very good food. The breakfast was not worth the money. The room in the main building was rather small.

Back 3th time

Rooms booked via Hotel.com with the choice criteria of the Logis de France affiliate, the restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast. We arrive on a Sunday evening around 7.30pm and find that the restaurant is closed, for dinner and breakfast the next day!!! The person at the reception has only one idea, leave as soon as possible. She gives us the keys and asks us to leave the keys on the doors of the rooms when we leave. From this moment on, we will never see anyone again... The rooms are very small, so we have to move the bed to open the cabinet; the toilet door is a handless door, with a key outside inside!

We had a great meal. We were many. Everything was very good and delicious, from jam, beef steak, gigot, fish. Nice presentation. We all licked our plates.
