When we came to this place for location versus puivert we didn't regret our choice very well welcomed, our little girl of 18 months got the most out of it. Good location in the middle of nature, a rabbit, Indian pigs in the garden, we disconnected for a long weekend. Our hostess was very available, and she made a baby bed available to us. Good address

A 5 for a family

Very nice place for a good quality guest room, with a large bathroom. At the disposal of the guests the pool, a kitchen and barbecue corner with refrigerator near the pool, a large wooded and flowery quiet terrain 5 min from Puivert. The guests are charming and helpful. Good breakfast served under the tub. There is also a family-friendly gite and a very nice camping area. The atmosphere is friendly between the different inhabitants, casual or permanent, places. A place to know and discover.

It's a little corner of heaven.

We spent a little week in a tent/yurt. An extra moment, in the middle of nature, in the quiet... all the comforts of a room (real ultra-comfortable bed, height, etc.), while living outside. Large spaces for children to play, games available for young and old, well equipped and clean kitchen, dry toilet, everything is great. Only the bemool, the shower that is outside and not at all isolated. It's a little cool (not the water but the room), especially for children, even in summer!

It all started with our really friendly host Ruth who took care her visitors on a daily basis. She gave us good tips on how to get by the highlights of the region. She made the place feel like home. 

My husband and I had an amazing holiday here. We slept for 9 nights in a well-equipped bell tent (double bed with sheets, couch, a few nightstands with nightlight, soft carpet on the floor, towels ...) surrounded by nature. You can choose whether to do your own thing where you have your own privacy or socialize with other guests, families and volunteers coming around which we had some inspiring talks with. The weather is warm during the day but cool enough during the night to sleep comfortably in the tent.

We also loved the pool, which is taken care of daily (super clean!), and outside kitchen with everything you need (from cuttlery, gas fire to a built-in barbecue). Apart from that there are plenty of spots on the property to sit and relax (e.g. hammocks). 

On top of that the Puivert village was nice for some basic food and drinks and we also explored the surroundings. If you need a vacation to leave all stress behind but still want to get some highlights in the region... this is it 🙂

Ruth always tries to make the stay the most enjoyable.The house is in a totally leafy environment where you wake up to the singing of birds.Avoid people who don't like animals, as she lives with six cats.The mattress is a bit uncomfortable, but everything else is phenomenal.

 Excellent location.

I have stayed at Green Horizons twice and love it there.  The welcome is warm and the pace is very relaxing.  Lots of pet animals and a beautiful pool.  The whole ethos of sustainability and environmental sensitivity is very positive and healing.  Also a great base if you fancy walking in the Pyrennees.  Will be going back again soon!

Best Place to de-stress

We had a very good time in the middle of nature in a region full of hiking trails. Nice frame, with a swimming pool available to relax a little bit more. The hosts are very warm and friendly.

A good time for relaxation

We had a 2 day stay at Green Horizon. This place is peaceful and a perfect spot to set up a trip across the must see places in Aude (Montsegur, Rennes le Chateau...)

Great place, great peoples

We stayed at the hostel for two nights. Short and brief stay. Strong odor unpleasant or even unbearable from glue or paint (?). A snack of crossroads products made available on arrival and nothing more served in the morning. For a place called green it is very disappointing. No reception for departure. Keys left in place, no contact with the owners. Contact at the reservation was nevertheless warm.

Nice setting but disappointing accommodation

We arrived a little bit late but was still treated nice and shown around the give with surroundings. Perfect studio gite where we cooked our meals and slept very well. A nice bathroom with great shower. Outside terass with bbq and close to the lovely pool with plenty of sun beds. Lovely owners!
