This holiday residence is located in the centre of the seaside town of QUIBERON, in the centre of the Quiberon Presqu'île, within walking distance and by bike to the city centre market, to the various shops, bars, restaurants, very quiet, clean residence with a heated swimming pool.

Ideal holiday home for dream vacations

It should be pointed out on the website that the MAEVA residence no longer exists, it is TY AVEL now.The photos of the pool no longer match reality, no pediluve, no trash, the pool is not heated, the guests do not follow the instructions posted on the door: no ball games, no screaming. The hall of the residence smells of cat pee, dirty sofa, the building is in decay, dirty carpet.

Disappointed

Apartment quite clean, new. Some debris and dust on the edges of the bed and sofa, but the rest is perfect. Home to receive the perfect keys, WiFi and flat screen TV. On the other hand very noisy, especially at night or other tenants knocking the doors, speak loudly in the hallway. And having a ready room from the elevator, the bed is glued to the partition in the entrance, the machinery is very noisy.

Good overall

If you liked this residence and wanted to come back, the owners have taken their property back. Mine is in management with the ORPI agency, 2nd floor full south and no screws.

KER AVEL becomes TY AVEL

Residence Pierre and Vacations Maeva in Quiberon is no longer available!!!! Today I call the Agency of Brittany ORPI Rue de Verdun in Quiberon. Direct access to the city centre 100m and the beach 5 minutes walk. No need for a car. I strongly recommend it.

I want to know more.

We have stayed one night in this apartment-hotel, which was perfect for comfort, calm neighborhood, but but but the hotel ask 7 euros to get some towels!  This is ridiculous.  And cheap attitude.

It's probably ok to pay for beach ou swimming pool large towels but we should at least have free available hand and shower towels for one-night stay!

If the hotel don't change that politic, I should not recommend this hotel.

Perfect but no towels!

Good location and good facilities (pool) suitable for traveling with kids, and not wanting to spent a fortune just to get 500 m or so closer to the beach.
Not the cleanest apartment or facilities but for the overall value/experience I would certainly stay at Maeva again.

Good for traveling with kids

We booked a kitchen and dining tableware, all in sufficient quantity. It took us about 2 hours to get to the hotel. It is an apparatus hotel, each room has a mini-kitchen. It is very well equipped - a refrigerator, a two-room electric plate, a dishwashing machine, a coffee maker (filters must be purchased yourself). Kitchen and dining utensils, all in sufficient quantity.

It's a good hotel.

very clean and basic but everything you need is here. The kids beds were close to us but far enough away and you could close a door between them and you for some privacy. Staff very friendly intact couldn't do enough. Very convenient for the town and beach would definitely stay again.

The studios are compact. Bunk beds as soon as you walk in to the front door are opposite the bathroom. There is also a quite comfortable double sofa bed. Each room has a balcony with a table and chairs and inside there is also a round table and chairs. The kitchen unit is small but well-equipped. There is a big fridge. 

Having looked at the pics on expedia we were disappointed on our arrival at the size of the swimming pool. It was cleverly photographed in the marketing photos and is actually tiny! It was fine however when it was not too busy. 

There is a laundry in the building and the staff are friendly and helpful. 

On leaving, as in most French 'résidences' it seems, you have to make sure that your studio is spotless or face a cleaning fine. This does mean bringing with you or buying the appropriate cleaning equipment (there is a hoover!) but we preferred to pay the 25 euro cleaning charge which you can opt for if you ask in advance. 

Other extra costs of interest:  Car park fee 39 euros per week; television rental 39 euros per week (french speaking only / no satellite) 

The location of the residence is great. Quiet but not far from the buzz of the centre-ville and la grande plage. 

Overall, I was very impressed with Quiberon and staying at this reseidence is a good value way of discovering this part of the world!
