My parents booked to stay here for a weekend and invited us to join them for dinner one evening. The available menu didn’t have a vegetarian option but the restaurant manager and the chef were happy to offer a choice and prepared a vegetarian dish especially for her. The hotel is clean, comfortable and in a very good location for enjoying the lake.

Very helpful team

An excellent 2 star hotel for a short stay. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves simple French food at a reasonable cost. Very good English is spoken by the managers should you need that. Lovely grounds with a small but adequate pool. Opposite Lac Saint Ferreol with nice views. A short walk to the village that has a lively feel. Rooms adequate with good beds. Bathroom could do with some deep cleaning.

Very good old fashioned hotel

We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and restaurant.  We had lunch on Sunday 24 September sitting outside underneath the canopy of trees and the food was excellent and the staff extremely helpful, with lovely views across the lake.

Sunday lunch

Well placed location with a good view facing the Lac de Saint Ferréol. Well cleaned and modern rooms, good food in the restaurant, charming pergola, good value for money, friendly and discrete staff.
The hotel is located on  a wide ground with park and old trees, away from the street. 
A  good outdoor swimming pool. 
A secrete address to recommend only to people who want to avoid noise, music everywhere and vulgarity!

Excellent hotel and restaurant  for people appreciating calmness and nature

We stayed in the Hotel many times before buying our house not far from it and we always had a good time there with the service of the Hotel, located just opposite the beautiful lake of St Ferreol, with a great beach in summer and walks all around any month of the year. St Ferreol was conceived by PP Riquet in the 17th century as part of the Canal du Midi and his extraordinary exploits can be seen at the Musee du Canal du Midi nearby. The Restaurant is excellent both for residents on full menu or for a la Carte Menu. For us it is the best Restaurant in the whole area and go there assiduously, always eating well in a chic decor at excellent value for money.

Excellent Hotel and Good value for money Restaurant

This hotel is well located across the street from the lake. It's quite a large establishment and rooms can be of various sizes, so it's good to check when you book. Corner rooms are the largest. Other rooms are a bit on the small side. They're all decorated the same, modern and elegant. A shelf or two would have been useful in the bathroom to put toileteries but, on the positive side,there is a good bathtub. Be aware that there's no A/C or fan. There's a lovely pool but it wasn't ready when we were there because of too much rain during the previous weeks. Breakfast is ok but the set up around the bar a bit awkward when there's more than one person getting their coffee and croissants!

Good location and good food but most rooms are small

The location by the Le Laudot - Bassin de Saint Ferreol (lake) surrounded by trees is fabulous. The restaurant itself is elegant, simple, unpretentious and of a high standard. The menu is short (there are choices of set menus of 32 and 49 euros), but the food is excellent and the service is discreet and polite.
Absolutely to be recommended.
