A beautiful guest house set in sumptuous gardens with swimming pool. The house itself is tastefully decorated throughout with of lots of unique features. A warm friendly welcome by the owners who made us feel at home and relaxed instantly !  Huge bedroom with an equally enormous super comfortable bed, and beautifully decorated.  Great shower as well. Excellent breakfast with lots of home made treats.
The charming hosts Leon & Stefan couldn’t do any more for us - they made our stay very enjoyable in a lovely quiet part of France.
We hope to return and stay longer next time.

Beautiful guest house in a quiet part of France

An absolute fantastic B&B for those looking for rest and the chance of combining an active holiday and visiting historic locations. The welcoming arrival was the start of a wonderful stay. The restful garden and swimming pool, together with a table tennis and table football table were very inviting. The Table de'hote was of a high standard (we rented a gite, so did not partake in the offered breakfast). The boulangerie in the village was perfect for our breakfasts (5 minute walk). The nearest bigger village (4 km) had a good choice of eating establishments and a little further a village with up class restaurants. Luc and Marja are the perfect hosts giving you the chance of having a great break.

Summer vacation

A cordial greeting from the owner to an elegant 19th-century country home, beautifully decorated and landscaped, with many places to relax under shady trees or sunning by the inviting swimming pool. Large, comfortable rooms and bountiful breakfast menu, with other meals available.
 A quiet retreat with direct access from the property to the "Passapais", a 72 kilometer (40 mile) "voie  verte", hike and bike route from Bedarieux to Mazamet, historical area of the Cathars.

If you like to have a relaxing stay, enjoy warm hospitality and explore a beautiful part of southern France, then La Cerisaie in Riols is a good option.
The B&B is accommodated in an old charming mansion with a wonderful and spacious garden to relax in the hammocks or deck chairs or play a game of petanque. The pool is ideal for a fresh dip when the weather is hot (which is usually the case in July and August).
The room the 3 of us (2 adults, 1 child) stayed in for a week was a studio with a small kitchen with fridge and stove and quite a spacious bathroom.
When the weather is nice you can enjoy the lovely breakfast (croissants, bread, fresh fruits, yoghurt, egg) in the patio, and a couple of times a week, Luc will organise an excellent table d'hote for the guests.

Riols is a small village ideally located to explore the beautiful region of Haut Languedoc with lots of options not too far away (canoeing, visiting caves, local markets). The hosts Marja and Luc will be happy to give suggestions and make bookings for activities if required.

Relaxing place, excellent service, great location

I stayed several times at La Cerisaie and I only can say that it's a beautiful and warm place to stay. Luc & Marja take care of their guests! They know how to treat you!
There's a wonderful garden where you can really relax and enjoy a book in the shade of a cherry tree or take a swim in the pool. The rooms are wonderfull with very good beds.
Luc cooks like a master chef. So you can enjoy a delicious meal at their place.
I wish I could go every year just a few days to relax and have some peaceful days to get some new energy for a busy life!
