You cannot beat the location or the view (from sea view rooms) at this hotel - absolutely fantastic for the money. However, I’m not sure if this is just because the hotel maybe hasn’t been opened for long after COVID, or if this is normal, but you should be be prepared to take everything but the kitchen sink. There is no hand soap, no dishwasher tablets, no dish cloth, no tea towel, no oven, no washing up liquid, no bread or vegetable knives - I could go on and on (and the flat was very dusty upon arrival, balcony was filthy - possibly again because it hasn’t been used in so long?) So if you’re staying here, be prepared to bring absolutely everything with you, buy it, or just make do without. This is not somewhere where you may find previous occupants had left some olive oil
Lying around. If you are only using the kitchen for breakfast and having every other meal out, then this is ideal for you. There is a spar very nearby - be aware of shorter opening hours on a sunday. The beach bar outside the hotel is great, but you can only pay by cash (same for the Boulangerie in the town, who even though they have a card machine really object to using it). WiFi was also not included in our room rate which is highly unusual. There is no working launderette in Macinaggio (ignore what Google says) and no washing machine on site (meaning a two hour round trip to Bastia just to wash clothes which you also need cash for. The one in Brando is service wash only and gave me a six hour turnaround time). Also be aware of the daily three hour lunch break reception takes at the hotel - I think because they still aren’t very busy? - as if you lock yourselves out by mistake, as we did, you’ve got a three hour wait if you time it badly!  All of the domestic issues aside, the beds were comfortable (although they were unmade, we had to do that upon arrival), the air con worked (note only in main room, so the kids were freezing on sofa bed under it and we were too warm in the bedroom) the views are great. To be honest, you aren’t going to get anywhere in Europe at peak season with these views, walking distance to a dozen or so lovely bars and restaurants, free parking, with this space right on a beach with those views in peak season for this money. I would stay here again - but will be far more prepared for the lack of provisions and support from the hotel.

Beach and views make it worth it

We had a wonderful week staying at the Adonis apartments in July. We had a 2 bed sea view apartment which was very modern , clean with fabulous views. Great small port, friendly authentic hardly any english tourists , no package holidays, a real gem! Elena at the reception was amazing! So helpful, cheerful, she could not do enough for us, thank you Elena ! You made our holiday very special and we will definitely be back!

I spare the details but we got upgraded in a sea view apartment and it was superb. Thanks to the staff for this! They are very welcoming. 
For the area, their price are quite competitive ...meaning it's great value for money. The apartment seems new and has a lot of amenities to cook. Linen and towels are provided. Even on a stormy night, it was quiet and, with their super comfy bed, we had a great night.
The location is perfect to visit Le Cap Corse. The coastal trail starts a few meters away and convenient store and good restaurants can be reached within a 10 - 15 min walk.
On the side note, when it's windy outside and the door is not properly closed, it feels like they stuffed the door with purring kitten. So cute!

The place is new, spacious and clean. Straight access to the beach. Wifi is not working, you have to go out of the room. There weren't enough bins in the apartment, only one the kitchen. But in general very recommendable. 

Great location 

It is so relaxing, having breakfast on the balcony watching people swimming in the beach right in front. Just perfect.
Macinaggio is a small town and these apartments are at one end so quite quiet too. There is a bar next door, but they were no problem. And it really is a very short wall to anywhere in town.
One downside was the internet was unusable- couldn't even select the network! The shower design is a bit strange, hard to contain the water. But these things are minor. Had a great night sleep every night, water was not with great pressure on the shower. No.washimg machine in the room.was a downer.

I would definitely stay here again, and not even look for an alternative. But only if I could get a sea view with balcony.
