Trip with husband and 2 teenage daughters, age 15 and 19. This  was our second visit to this campsight, last time 10ish years ago. We have been to many other Siblu and other campsites in between.  Our mobile was at the back of the campsite but with no little children to walk it was very accessible. Weather was mixed , dull and raining and hot and sunny. We had a fabulous holiday a lovely mixture of time spent on site and out and about .  The mobile home was spotless on arrival. Equipment provided to cater for cooking in a full oven and hob if we wished. Beds clean and comfortable. We hired linen . Washing machine added bonus. We did a mixture of eating out and catering for ourselves. The highlight for us was the evening entertainment especially the shows. The whole  team are amazing providing professional standard entertainment alongside the kids clubs which we didn’t use this year. We enjoyed having a drink during happy hour and cabaret , before our evening meal, after a day at the pool or sightseeing . Great way to wind down , enjoy the evening sunshine and being entertained. Molly’s collection of songs were great , mixture of French and English too. 
The teams around the whole facility were welcoming and helpful from checking in at reception, security, getting drinks at the bar and the pool staff. Even on the busiest nights the bar staff moved quickly through the customers so you never had to wait long to be served. The pool area was immaculately clean especially the toilets. 
We only ate on the on-site restaurant on our last night but should have been more often , meal was delicious and so reasonably priced. A lovely friendly inclusive atmosphere on the campsite. Shop was small but had everything we need to supplement a big shop off site. We needed our gas changed and it was sorted within 1/2hr. Great rapport between the staff, boss, sales team , pool staff ,reception,  bar staff all present in the evenings and being acknowledged by Ents team. 


Perfect family holiday

It's a little old like camping, rough road, small pool, but nice bike rides, but another concern to work on your computer is the connection to a phone because wifi is not free.

How about that?

Everything was so well organised by Siblu. Our mobile home was perfect and had a welcome pack. The staff at La Pignade were, as usual, totally professional and courteous all the time. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return. Thank you!

Feel like we're at home.

We spent a week in La Pignade in the middle of August. The infrastructure allowed everyone to do the activities they liked (pool, mini-golf, children's club, foam night...). The grocery store, snack and restaurant are ideal for parents who do not dare to cook during the holidays! The home mobiles are spacious and all the necessary equipment was provided. The staff is pleasant and the animation staff offers various activities and evenings. Moreover, the town of Ronce and the beaches are really close, not to mention the many tourist attractions of Charente Maritime. Perfect for parents who want to occupy children with various activities while also relaxing!

Ideal for a family holiday

We had a car man without a covered terrace and when it rains it is a problem especially for the electric barbecue and bicycles that remain on the outlet.

Resting stay

Campsite very well located and well equipped. The equipment is at the top with staff for each activity. Many activities (accompanied or free access) for all tastes. The mobile homes are really very well equipped and especially perfectly equipped, with many clever storage facilities. Animation and commercial team at the top!

Very good stay.

The campsite is a bit big, and it's not easy to get there, especially at night, because we didn't ask for the cleaning before we stayed, and when we asked for it, we were given the price of 130 euros.

Okay, but...

Shaded campsite, spacious air-conditioned carriage house, great water area, mini golf, children's play area, friendly staff, only the mosquitoes that kept us from enjoying the evenings

Very nice camping

Family group of 3 adults, 3 under 11’s visited for 2 weeks during high summer. Have stayed at French sites (Yelloh, mostly) over last 8 summers. This was the least impressive. After 2 weeks we all failed to navigate the maze-like accommodation numbering. Clearly the site has hugely over-expanded, and the numbers of the properties make no sense. We had a nice quiet Mobil home at the back of the site. Not a pretty site, but functional. Mobil home great, very clean, everything we needed. Quiet at night, importantly! 
My biggest issue relates to the facilities. I stay at these sites in order to access things like archery (unavailable to under 16’s), kid’s clubs (100% French), the bar (long queues), the on-site takeaway (uninspiring), the evening entertainment (the young site entertainers singing Disney, mostly) but most crucially, the pool. 
We were there during a heatwave, but the pool was dangerously over crowded. They had to operate a one-in one-out policy during afternoons. I complained and was directed (by Siblu Customer Service) to the local beaches (none of which are within walking distance). It was barely standing room in the pool. Certainly no chance of playing or swimming! Not a chance of getting a seat/lounger. We sat on the concrete much of the holiday. Nice play area for small children, sports pitch (which was extremely crowded with kids at night), crazy golf fun, 1 ping pong table, huge (unnecessarily huge!) pétanque pitches. Saw a few aqua aerobics sessions in the pool, but too busy really.
Really disappointing. The lifeguards looked a bit lost, I’m not sure how they managed to keep an eye on everyone. 
I wouldn’t stay at this site again. There are lots of much better sites around France.

Overcrowded

I have never written a review before but after 3 amazing weeks in La Pignade, I had to give a shout out about this super site and their amazing entertainment team.  

The location is super, near two villages in forested countryside.  The site is clean, tidy and very safe for kids.  Bikes are handy as they make the trip back up from the village easier!  The beach in the nearest village isn't the best but you don't have to go more than 5km to find amazing beaches.

The pool area is spotless and the lifeguards are very diligent.  The slides are perfect for kids up to 10 but older ones might like a little more action.  

It was however the kids clubs and entertainment staff that will bring us back....big shout out to Tara, Meille, Alexis, Caroline and all the team.....would have no hesitation in recommending this site!
