Very cosy Hotel for a family trip. Situated in the very centre of the old medieval town, at a walking distance to all the important sites in Rouen. There is a nice public parking close which made it possible for us not to worry about our car during our stay. Very kind staff...We loved our stay there!

Wonderful stay at the heart of Rouen

Simple hotel just by the Cathedral in Rouen. The building is very old so you get a real sense of staying in old Rouen with all its history. Family room was great for a night, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly.

Great value hotel

The hotel located in city center of Rouen. 
You got the big cathedral just 2-3min walking.
On the corner of the hotel you have a small supermarket which is very convenient. 
Lot of restaurants , shop and other thing just in walking distance. 
Absolutely perfect location ! 

There a parking like 200m away. The hotel cannot access by car as it a walking city center but you can park the car at the corner and drop your luggage which is like 10m from the Main Street.

Don’t follow google map . You will end up even more far in the block road. 
You can come along “rue de la république”, you will see “ carrefour express “at the corner and the hotel it just in the street ( rue saint- Romain ). 

The hotel is old traditional style , the building like 200 years old. 
The room was not that big but not small either ! 
It was nothing fancy but nice and clean. 
The breakfast is like 14€ or you can walk around there like lot of coffee around the hotel. 



Very nice location 

I was very concerned about staying here after reading these reviews but to our surprise - this hotel was perfect for us. Two couples, touring France in September. The location is central to everything in Rouen (you have to park a few blocks away but it was no problem). Checking in was easy, it has a very nice little courtyard where we shared a bottle of wine and some snacks our first night. We loved our rooms - very comfortable, nice clean bathrooms and enough room to do some repacking. The breakfast is served in a cute, comfortable room with many choices of food. We found no issues with cleanliness, location or service. We would stay here again.

Fantastic Location!

Good Hotel with pleasant staff (and a lovely cat). Really close to the centre and the sites. Parking is nearby and charged but not too expensive. The light show on an August wednesday projected onto the Cathedrale was spectacular.

Central Location for a days visit

Overall our stay was good . just some things to consider before booking here. Firstly if your traveling by car the car park is about a five minute walk which isn't too bad.....But if your travelling with a lot of bags then it can be quite a walk . the other Negative thing was that our room we stayed in was located near the lift shaft so when used the noise of the lift can be quite loud especially problematic for the light sleeper.. locations wise its ideal for all the tourist attractions and generally a well decorated clean hotel.

Nice Hotel Central to all Tourist Sites But Has its Flaws.

Easy to walk from around the Cathedral little lanes where there are many delightful and individual shops from clothing to antiques, oddities of nature to interior design, I was tempted to shop at the independent boutiques but updated my underwear drawer instead at the excellently helpful new shopping mall branch.
Ate an odd salad which was absolutely horrid as my old mum would say but did better with a lovely chocolate dessert from the patisserie nearby with its elegant Tea-room style lunch salon which was packed, others must have made a better choice!


Really friendly and comfortable central Rouen hotel

A  hotel hidden away in a quiet cobbled street close to the Cathedral.  We arrived late and omitted to let the hotel know so were not met at reception.  This was not problem as we were given our keys and pointed in the general direction of our room.  This was a good size and and the bed was large and very comfortable with lovely fresh linen and a warm duvet.  The bathroom was well appointed and the water was very warm.  Breakfast was charged as an extra and we thought quite expensive but did offer a very good selection of food.  The staff were were pleasant and helpful.  We would certainly visit again if in Rouen.

Comfortable Overnight Stay

Nice courtyarded hotel right in the middle of the medieval streets, Old but clean decorated rooms. Adequate continental breakfast. Charming resident cat. But, regretfully,  watch out there's a thief about. I guess I should have expected to loose a small antique I bought and then stupidly left on the sideboard at the bottom of the stairs but we could only deduce that my partners blouse went missing from our room in our absence.

Short,  bittersweet. 

After an hour we finally found the hotel as it was hidden by scaffolding and not a very friendly meeting from the desk.A rickety lift to 2nd floor to a small dark and damp smelling room,very cramped,but the bed comfortable.Breakfast not exciting at all and was not included in the price.we would have done better going to a local café.
