Very well located hotel with parking just across the street old and dirty room cleaner instead of toilet seat hand washing ridiculously small and not a sink, shower curtain not very clean carpet on the dubious floor window simple wood glazing very dirty and paint scaled from everywhere

Disappointed

Excellent value for the money. 

The hotel is very simple and basic, but clean, comfortable, exceptionally well-located within a couple blocks of the Cathedrale, Seine River, Flixbus station, metro, city bus, free Cy’clic public bike station, in the heart of the city center, with markets, bars, restaurants, and a huge variety of shops all around.

The couple managing the hotel live onsite and are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

There is a simple daily 5€ breakfast bar option with a variety of croissants and rolls, automated custom coffee machine with many options, yogurt, selection of fruit juices, and condiments.

Our room had a pretty view of the cathedral and large windows that open fully.

The bathroom is tiny, but adequate and clean.

Contemporary, clean simple room had one double bed, one twin bed, and a small desk with chair, adequate for 2-3 persons, with little space for luggage.

There were 2 electric outlets on opposite sides of the room, a small television, and readings lamps at the large bed.

The hotel lacks an elevator. The upper floor hallway floorcoverings and lighting need work. But the lobby, dining area, and the rooms themselves are entirely agreeable.

For the location and price, on a busy festival weekend, we got exceptional value.

One wonders why some of the pictures of the rooms are drawn, on the spot we understand everything. Very dirty, badly maintained from the entrance to the establishment, very small sdb/dirty/no shower door, and cherry on the gate: the mattress is completely worn and hole in the middle: it is impossible to lie down without falling into the middle. According to the manager they had received the new mattresses but did not want to change them before we arrived.

A blow to the mouth

It is a very friendly hotel (very different from what the Tripadvsor website suggests). Not everything is perfect, of course, but the kindness and availability of the hotel manager greatly compensate for the few imperfections.

Pleasantly surprised

If this hotel is perfectly located in the historic city, it is the only positive rating we will give it.

Old hotel, dirty and uncomfortable bathroom, the carpet is dirty and stinks of mousse, the bed is uncomfortable... I stop there but I could write pages of it. I usually have the flare of writing a comment but there I couldn't help but do it for the good of others. A shame for 50 euros!!!!!!!!!! I think I'll take care of writing a complaint to the dedicated court to ask for a check...

It's freezing!

The hotel is well located because it's in the city and parking (paid) right in front. I wasn't bothered by the noise of the street. The price is reasonable: 59 euros the standard room. A new cost is required in the room: torn carpet, damaged paint... The household...the other...in the room could go. But the bathroom: black trace in the shower (which goes to the touch so it's sure that a sponge didn't go through it! And the bottom: there was still the bag of ice cream the previous client used?!!!! This is not acceptable.

Really mean.

Located at the foot of the cathedral, the hotel is very well situated (parking area opposite, a bit expensive). The couple who welcomed us is very friendly, and gave us a lot of information. The rooms are simple, but with a good price/quality ratio. We recommend this hotel

Good value for money

This hotel near the Cathedral is decent, clean, well lit and very welcoming to the owners, the breakfast at 5 € is fine, it is ideal for a night or two to discover the historic centre of Rouen.

Very well located hotel

I stayed there for 2 nights just after Easter; had just booked for 1.  I arrived on my motorbike, friendly guy waved me to come, moved his car and gestured for me to park in his space.  Cheap & Cheerful
