Mylène and her husband were charming hosts, very welcoming, with plenty of helpful advice.
A small rustic French hotel with shared toilet facilities, the room was basic but comfortable. No other guests there, for which we were pleased.

two things were OK: the bread in the breakfast and that it is near mont st michel (not that near though)

Also everything is very clean

First of all the check in time at 6 pm!!! its totally absurd!! and check out 11 am... I mean for the price you pay you dont get even a day of staying....

Second of all the lady in charge is really controlling: she wanted to almost impose the check in time saying "PLEASEE after 6:30 pm..." I mean like if 6 pm wasn"t late enough... 

In conclusion, it not worth it at aLL!! way too much expensive. Only as a last resource (which was my case)

On the plus side:  The owner was very friendly. It will help if someone if your group speaks at least a little French. Our room was cute and very affordable.

On the minus:  No plates with the breakfast rolls. Also no meat, cheese or fruit. However for 75 euro for 3 people it was good to have even a simple breakfast. 

Our room had a shower, but didn't have a private WC, which I knew in advance.  Turned out not to be a problem as we were the only guests : )

Cute French Country Inn

My partner and I were the only ones here for the night, so had the whole place to ourselves! 
Located not too far away from the Mont Saint Michel (15 minute drive), has a view of the MSM 30 meters away and is in a quiet, cute little village!
The breakfast was amazing! baguette, homemade plum and apricot jams, homemade cakes, croissants, yogurt, tea and coffee (more than you can drink!) and juice. Enough that even the biggest of breakfast eaters can't finish it all!
The rooms are a great size - can walk all around the bedroom and there is tea and coffee facilities in the room. The 'lounge' room has space for your belongings (drawers and hangers), tv and chairs. Shower room has a good size shower, plenty of hot water and a hair dryer (one thing less to pack if you normally use one!) and towels. Toilet on the floor is spacious too. Only downside I can see being possible are the the walls and floors may make more noise the more people there are staying - as we were the only ones (being at the end of october just after rain) we didn't have any problems.
The Owner was very nice and helpful - sent us to a good restaurant at the mont saint michel, where they offered us a free welcome drink because we were staying here...
Would stay here again if it was out of peak season again!

Just what we needed!

A quiet, small place that the kids loved due to the animals in the garden, located in a tiny village close to the Mont. We stayed here while we visited the Mont Saint Michel. With car and a GPS navigator you can get to the Mont quickly through the fields - be brave! Large roads make a huge detour.

The hosting couple is very helpful and welcoming. It helps if you know a bit of French, though, as they don't speak much English.

This is not for partying people as the sound-proofing in the building is quite non-existant and for everyone's convenience it is better to be quiet at night - I'm afraid we distrubed the other guests when our kids made some noise late in the evening. We had a handy two-room lodging, the kids could sleep in the other room, adults in the other. The rooms have a shower, toilet is in the hallway.
