Hôtel De La Gare

Two senior couples spent two nights at Hotel de la Gare. A very typical, family run small hotel. Everything we wanted was at hand, very friendly and convivial owners and staff, excellent breakfast (continental, not egg and bacon!) very good local cuisine served in the restaurant and a cosy bar with good draught beer. Rue is quite a small town so the location is quiet. Rooms are basic (which is reflected in the price) but with comfortable beds and an excellent en suite shower room. Stairs are a bit narrow and steep but the owner is about to convert a ground floor stable to accommodate the less able. An ideal location for exploring the Somme Bay area.
