A wonderful return to one of the best places to stay when travelling in France. Exceptional hosts, great location and facilities, and truly delicious food if dining in. And as always, a great selection of other guests to share the experience and to join in stimulating conversation. We will return!

Wonderful return visit.

Wonderful Bed & Breakfast with a spacious parking and outdoor pool. The garden is immense and well taken care of and the atmosphere is pleasant and quiet. 
We really enjoyed our stay and recommend this Bed & Breakfast for people who would love a nice retreat away from the noise and crowds of more touristic areas and stay in a nice and serene environment. The breakfast is also amazing and the homemade jams are wonderful and tasty.

Many thanks to Armand, Anne and their dog Nova who greeted us with a smile on their face.

Delightful

This lovely B & B has it all - the warmest of welcomes, lovely rooms and grounds, comfortable beds, generous breakfast, and an indoor pool that's still heated and in use in October.

We enjoyed our short stay in the Loire so much and would highly recommend staying with Anne & Armand.

Special mention for the home made jams at breakfast.  You know they're going to be very good when they don't say 'there's plum jam' but tell you the name of the plum variety!

The perfect B & B

Cedre et Charme is a tranquil oasis away from the daily hustle and bustle. 

Armand is very friendly and super helpful, he made our stay very pleasant and helped advise on places nearby to go for dinner. 

The rooms are very comfortable - we both slept so well both nights and we loved the memory foam pillows so much that we are going to buy our own when we return home. 

We loved the two family collies - they are so friendly and love a fuss. 

The swimming pool is really clean and warm, the weather was 30* when we stayed so was a welcome addition!

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing 

We were directed to CetC by family friends whose wedding we were attending, and they found this lovely B'n'B for us. It's centrally located in the Loire Valley, with short driving times to Chenonceau and Tours.  Roses surround the house, and when we drove the car in the gate, their well-trained and attentive border collies, Nova and Chestnut, guided us to a parking space. The common rooms and bedrooms have elegant high ceilings, tall windows and country-house personality, but the linens and bathroom are completely modern and everything is sparkling clean (including a hair dryer, big towels and great water pressure). WiFi is easily accessible. The back garden holds even more roses, a small but excellent swimming pool, and an apiary(bee hives) in one far corner of the garden. The hosts are welcoming, kind and helpful, and the "continental" breakfast offers a perfect introduction to the marvelous cooking one encounters all over France. The land they own supports enough fruit trees that, together with the honey, the property can supply the breakfast condiments!  We hope that the groom's younger brother marries his girlfriend soon, so we have an excuse to return to this beautiful, comfortable hotel.

Perfect balance of quaint and modern

For the first time ever we went back the same place for a holiday - Anne and Armand @ Cedre et Charme did not disappoint. We spent a joyous 11 nights in St Branchs with good food and great company. It’s a peaceful village yet ideally placed to visit the many fascinating Chateaux, Abbeys etc.; not to mention some of the Loire’s vineyards. Nothing was too much trouble for our lovely hosts. Judging by what the other guests who visited whilst we were there told us, many of whom returned each year, we are sure that just like us everyone had a really great time. Wonderful!

Another fabulous holiday experience

A delightful stay in the peaceful Loire Valley. The hosts Anne and Armand were so attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. Set in beautiful surroundings, our room was extremely spacious, immaculately clean and trés chic. Breakfast was good and the company that we met on the shared table made the whole experience so enjoyable. One evening we had table d'hôte outside in the beautiful grounds, it was a wonderful experience for our family with delicious food, including the most scrumptious home made desserts, with our fellow holiday makers and the hosts. When we next come back to the Loire, we hope to return.

Fabulous Stay

We stayed one night on our way down to Bordeaux, and then again for one night on our way back 10 days later. On night one, despite arriving very late we were warmly greeted and pleased to learn that our hosts had made sure we could still join them and the other guests for dinner. And what a beautiful meal it was, with delightful company and interesting conversation. The room was very comfortable with everything we could wish for. For the stay on our way back we made sure not to be late so that we could relax with our hosts and the other guests for longer. Another fantastic evening meal and wine, and more great conversation. We could not have asked for anything more. We are now planning our next holiday in France around a longer stay at Cedre et Charme.
