Had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay there. Rooms are very nice and clean, breakfast is very good, too. It's been a nice experience being served from the wife of Luc Alphand. It's been a very warm welcome and if felt a little bit like coming home. Nice region around the hotel. Consequently a stay there is definitely a good choice!

Nice hotel with very good and friendly service

Stayed here for L'étape du Tour 2017 as part of a group booking with Ronan Pensec Travel for 3 nights.
Mrs Alphand, the owner is a tremendous host. Welcoming, friendly, accommodating  and always going the extra step to help out whatever the request, whoever makes one.
The hotel is spotless with fast acting efficient and always smiling staff. 
The breakfast is second to none.
One of the rare places that deserve a plus with it's 5 stars rating.

Top hotel with best hospitality

We stayed for two nights and this hotel looks like brand new: Rooms are fantastic, with good beds and bathorooms, and the breakfast has a wide variety of products. Wifi not to fast, the only problem I found.

Fantastic Hotel

I Travelled to France to visit my son who is working a ski season. I chose this hotel for its location but on arrival was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the whole property. The room was very modern, clean and very spacious. The staff were very warm, friendly and super helpful. They made me feel very welcome. The reception area and breakfast room were very plush.
The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the village and two ski lifts.
I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone,

Perfect stay

twowheeltours have stayed at La Balme Alphand for the past few years when passing through this part of the Alps.
We will continue to stay here because of the friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very comfortable rooms and beds. They have great facilities for bike storage and the rooms are very quiet. 
It is only a short walk to some great restaurants.
We'll be back time and time again. Thank you Anna-Karin and the other staff.
