Part of our road trip from Ireland across Europe involved a stop off in St Die and once we reached there we used TripAdvisor to provide some options. The hotel looked fine online, had availability and was nearby so we dropped in straight away as it was getting late. Girl on reception (was also bar person) checked us in and gave us key to our 3rd floor room which was fine with a really great shower room, more 4* than the hotels 2* rating. The free WiFi was available only in the bar area and not rooms. Hotel had everything we needed for this type of trip, breakfast wasn't too spectacular and I'd avoid the coffee if it normally tastes like we got that morning! Still, I'd have no problem going back as it had convenient (paid) street parking, plus I know where to get a good morning coffee now!
