Thoroughly enjoyed our time in St-Emilion.  The apartment we stayed in with Logis Des Jurats was well appointed, and extremely central to all we needed.  We used the lovely outdoor garden to sit in for wine with our own cheese/meat platters - which was an unexpected bonus.  The owners of Logis Des Jurats  - Marlese and her husband, were excellent hosts.  They helped us with transportation back to Bordeaux, and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay.    This holiday was super relaxing, with many great walks to be had, and wonderful dining restaurants nearby. 

Logis Des Jurats - hosts with a smile and unexpected garden

We took the budget room - it was on the ground floor of this old house in a narrow street a few minutes walk from the main square. The room was spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners were friendly and accommodating, check in and check out all smooth.
We would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfortable with character and convenience

Decent place to rest our heads for the night as we got in late and left the next day. The best parts are the location, the on-site parking, and the price. It’s in a perfect location, towards the bottom of the town, steps away from the monolithic church square. The accommodation was basic but clean and rustic. We stayed in the relatively spacious family room that had a separate little sitting area and tv on the first floor (up one flight of stairs and then another short flight within the room). 

Wifi was in and out. It worked for me mostly but my husband couldn’t even pick up the network on his phone. 

Air conditioning was nice and cold during a heatwave. And we are very into cold a/c. It worked well. The bed was kinda hard and there was a comforter that wasn’t the softest. But that’s sort of expected at this price point. Bathroom was small but clean and functional. Important: there’s no rubber transition between the bedroom floor and the bathroom tile which is about 1in higher than the floor. My husband stubbed his toe badly on the tile in the night. So just watch out for that. 

The owners (a couple) were friendly, gave us a very nice welcome, and were happy to answer questions. We had a simple breakfast for 9 euros each with one hard boiled egg, baguette and croissant, a slice of ham and a slice of cheese each. It was fine but I’d skip breakfast and go to a nice bakery or cafe in town and enjoy the town.

Location and parking on site! Good a/c

We only stayed for one night on a stopover, but really loved the place! The room was very nice, and we very much appreciated the very friendly welcome. We hope to br back for a longer stay sometimes in the future.

What a great little find! Right off the main square which is filled with restaurants and bars! Had a great afternoon and evening wandering the streets and discovering Saint Emilion! The owners were friendly and lovely. The room clean modern and just what we needed. The added bonus was the parking! Something we were very lucky with as prior to arrival we were none the wiser to the extortionate parking charges!! €33 for 5 hours!!! Here you can park for an additional €7 a day! Well worth it! The room is equipped with kettle and tea/coffee and a fan! Owners speak 4 languages we knew if! Cash only though but there are cash machines close by. Would definitely return here! 

Quick stop off

We visited Logis Des Jurats as part of a driving tour around the south of France - we booked last minute and really fell on our feet! A lovely little building in a fantastic location in the middle of town. We stayed in the double room downstairs, and the space is modern and clean. Being able to park across the road was fantastic as parking in Saint Emilion is limited amongst all the little streets. Our host was very friendly with fantastic English (for two Australians with very limited French!) and he gave us some great recommendations and information for the area. Great value for money, would definitely recommend.

Excellent little hotel 

Logis Des Jurats is a fantastic place to stay for a visit to St. Emilion. The location is perfect and the lodging is top notch. We stayed with our adult daughter in a large shared room. The space was generous and well designed so everyone had their own living area despite it being one room. It was impeccably clean and while small, the shower and toilet were modern and comfortable.

Marliese was a professional and gracious host who communicated well and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was simple yet tasty and ample which suited us well. The parking is right next door and adjacent to it is a small yard with beautiful views and a small table and chairs. We enjoyed a picnic lunch there one afternoon. The town square is literally a few metres from the front door and everything is completely walkable. We parked the car and didn't use it at all during our stay. 

I highly recommend Logis Des Jurats as a base to visit St. Emilion. Furthermore, I highly recommend St. Emilion as a place for a visit.

Fantastic place to stay for a visit to St. Emilion!!

We stayed here for 1 night on a mini 4 night tour around Bordeaux with my wife and young daughter. Room was lovely and spacious, hosts were great and breakfast lovely. I will come here again and spend some relaxing time for a few more nights next time! St Emilion was also great- I need to come back....

Fabulous stay

We stayed here for one night only but wish it could have been longer. Great location close to very centre of St Emilion with very friendly and helpful hosts.

Location is quiet so had great night’s sleep. Room very spacious with great shower and reasonable bathroom. Good breakfast. Parking directly opposite.

Easy to explore the local area on foot. Short walk to multitude of restaurants and longer, but doable, walk to nearby wine tours.

All in all, an excellent stay and we will definitely come back when we next visit beautiful St Emilion.

Excellent stay

We had an amazing time at logis des jurates! We wanted to stay somewhere outside of Bordeaux but in a walkable town with plenty to do. Also on a budget but wanted somewhere beautiful and comfortable. This place is perfect. We arrived very late but check in was easy and well communicated. We booked directly via email so received a continental breakfast that was the perfect start to a decadent day in saint emillion. The room is spacious, quiet, clean and modern. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Our hosts are completely lovely with great local tips and warm hospitality. Would highly recommend a night or two here on your French holiday!
