This is an excellent chambres d’hôtes just outside St Emillion. The attraction of staying in a Chambre d’hôte is the chance to meet the local host and get all their local knowledge. La Gomerie is no exception and the hosts are charming and very helpful. Rooms are large and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. We would highly recommend staying here. 

Wonderful chambre d’hôtes

Wonderful B&B in the St Emilion vineyards. Can wake up with grapevines outside your window and walk to the village of St Emilion for wine. The host, Laurent, was so friendly and helpful. Everything inside the cottage was perfectly decorated and done to perfection for you to enjoy your trip.

Excellent hosts and a great location in the vineyards close to St Emillion. Perfect place to stay to walk into the village through the vineyards.  Hosts super helpful in recommending restaurants, wine tastings etc.  Swimming pool is an added bonus. Thoroughly recommend.

Our stay was absolutely lovely. We were greeted by Jean Francoise  and Laurent when we arrived.  They graciously showed us the guest spaces and our rooms.  We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations.  Cheerful with plenty of light and every detail planned.  Absolutely had anything we could dream of.  Our hosts arranged tours and dinners for us on a moments notice. All very appreciated 
 The pool was a pleasant delight after our biking tour. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay

There are simply no words to describe how wonderful this place is. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave your hosts are amazing. They make you feel like an honoured house guest and nothing is too much trouble   Their attention to detail is something else!! If you are looking to stay in st emillion then this is the place. My only regret is that we were there for only 1 night. Thank you thank you so much for being the best place we have ever stayed in!

My wife and I spent one night at La Gomerie. The lodging is just outside Saint-Émilion, close enough to walk to the town, and surrounded by vineyards. The room was lovely, with a modern bath and a fine view, although we could hear noise from the adjacent room. Breakfast was very good. The free parking was a bonus. The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. We would love to have stayed longer.

What a great surprise! Since the very warm welcome, very comfortable bed and big room to the lovely breakfast with fresh products. Very friendly host and great outdoor space. Recommend 100% and would definitely come back! Loved it! :) Merci!

Wonderful stay!

My wife and I traveled with our Son and his wife for a wedding in Bordeaux we decided to stay two days at Saint Emilion. My wife booked this place and when we pulled in I was not sure if we are in the right place, until one the owners showed up with a hand truck to help us with our luggage. From that moment on I was in love with this beautiful heavenly place, the place is magnificent and beautiful, the owners are two kind people and they would go out of their way to do anything you need to make your stay a great experience.
I will book this place for a hole week and bring my family back for a week. Enjoy your stay🥰

It is with embarrassment that we write very belatedly regarding our wonderful trip to La Gomerie to see beautiful Bordeaux. We stayed four nights and  our hosts Jean-Francois and Laurent were simply outstanding. This little hotel is perfectly positioned for a walk through the vineyards to the exquisite village of St Emilion each evening for dinner after a preprandial pastis by the pool. Return to a beautifully decorated air conditioned room and a very comfortable bed!
Superb breakfast in the garden before a trip to one of the many chateaux for wine tasting. Absolute bliss. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts who helped and advise us throughout our stay and allowed us to enjoy everything that this beautiful corner of France has to offer. Merci beaucoup.

Simply Wonderful

La Gomerie was a complete surprise. The website does not do justice to the what we consider one of the most idylic hotels we have ever stayed in for such a low price. The hosts were charming, friendly and helpful. The surroundings tranquil and soothing. We had travelled for over 9 hours and it was a delight to arrive somewhere perfectly suited to relaxtion. The rooms were very tastefully furnished and decorated. The breakfast was simple but delicious with a good range of local products, some of which were produced by the farm next door. It was obvious that a great deal of time and care had been given to ensuring the guests felt relaxed, comfortable and welcomed.

A absolute triumph and highly recommended.
