Don't get fooled, the reservation is taken, the money's cashed in, but you'll stay at the door  When you try to call to book a breakfast and you run into an ambulance or an unattributed number, there's a problem

I don't understand the reviews posted, a top-notch place and quality staff, very luxurious rooms, breathtaking views, a great little deer, I recommend this hotel, thanks to Guy and his team.

It's a beautiful place.

The facility is comfortable and in a nice panoramic position (far from the center), the problem is that there is no hotel service, which is not acceptable, for the price paid. There are no amenities in the bathroom, they were unable to provide us with a working hair dryer, no bars in the facility or facilities in the room, and no reception service during the day.

No price to quality ratio

No service, poor condition of the house, the maid is the gardener, no pool alarm, broken furniture, faulty installation, unproven benefits promised. We had a witness check done to prosecute the owner who pockets the money and then takes no interest in these hosts.

It's a scam.

The shark house is full of memories and the history of its owners. The rooms are open on the beautiful garden and on the large flooded pool. The beach is in front, you can take the way to the coast to go swimming in privacy in a small cove. Finally a very special mention for Philippe, always available, original passionate and full of good advice! Parking covered for cars.

Magnificent, unusually charming

House is really wonderful, swimming pool, garden, every single thing. They have one apartment and two rooms. In mini bar was just one bottle of water and one of some tonic. Rooms are wonderful, big romantic bed, table and you have door for exit to garden. Bathroom had some strange shampoo, no hand soap. It couldn't ruin our vacation because I always have my own. 
But breakfast is something what really we had to avoid. At least we mustn't pay for it 20€ per person. No ham and cheese, no eggs, marmelade from last year with mold on the top, mugs that are dirty... disaster!! Pictures of this are below. 
Maybe it was not top season but they should prepare better. Or at least we shouldn't pay for breakfast. 

Perfect stay, avoid breakfast

We've spent five unforgettable days, the estate is magical, the view is breathtaking, a feeling of total disembarkation so close to St. Florent, a very welcome to a house full of character, the exceptional suite, thank you, Guy.

Unforgettable

We had a fantastic stay at Maison Rorqual. Close to the heart of St Florent, overlooking the bay, we felt like being in a haven of peace in the middle of busy July in Corsica. 
The place has been set with style and creativity by our host, Guy Baldrichi who is a colourful and welcoming person with a great experience of St Florent and Corsica. 

Our suite was truly incredible, with a built-in cascade in one of the bathrooms, a comfortable bed and a decoration full of character.

Breakfast was simple with fresh quality products, in a great setting overlooking the bay.

Luxury and peaceful stay at Maisons Rorqual

Nice location, house decorated with beautiful objects and beautiful ideas. When you enter the house, there are so many things to look at that you are seduced. The rooms are spacious and well decorated. The bedding is comfortable but the air conditioning is noisy. Too bad, it spoils the quiet of the place. We were especially disappointed by the breakfast (charged 20€/person) that you could describe as anything with supermarket tickets and the bread that seemed the night before. So much so that we had imagined that the service would be offered... Maybe this morning, a price tag has upset the habits of the house...

Funny feeling.

I spent a wonderful weekend in this lovely and cozy property. A family home turned into a hotel. A private villa, more than a hotel. The Maison Rorqual has only five rooms, all very well furnished, and my family and I had all occupied them. We were able to enjoy the villa exclusively, dining in the beautiful garden with a fantastic view of St. Florent Bay, as well as the attention of the hotel owner and staff, very kindly. All of us, when we returned home, retain a pleasant memory of it.
