I am reviewing a room with shared showers and toilet.
Let me start with telling you that I made a mistake when booking the room. I didn't realize we had to share the toilet and showers that were located down the hallway. I believe they have different types of rooms, so make sure you book the room you want. 
The place is very clean, well kept, staff was friendly. They make the most of a place that definitely has a barracks, boarding school feel to it.
It was simple but totally Ok and they have a little garden in the back that the guests can use. Parking is right in front of the house on the premises. A nice beach (l'ileau)  is not far by car. Shopping facilities are also close by.

Make sure you book the type of room you really want

This is an unpretentious but comfortable hotel in a convenient location for visiting the island.  The owners (?) went out of their way to cater for my partner's food allergy and were always friendly and helpful.
I had a problem with the wifi signal but that didn't impair my enjoyment, though might be a problem for some.  My partner didn't seem to have problems, though had to use her ipad downstairs for decent reception.

A quiet and comfortable hotel with very friendly hosts and staff.

Nice hotel. The staff especially the receptionist really made an effort to make us feel welcome and even recommended a cheaper room to us that had be become available due to a cancellation ! She also helped us with a restaurant recommendation for the evening of our arrival which was great as we had driven a long way to get to the hotel. Nice breakfast of fresh croissants and bread and tea, coffee and juice.
