Without a doubt one of the best addresses in the area! Very friendly home Restaurant: impeccable service, inventive cuisine with excellent local products. You discover with your eyes and you indulge yourself with your lipstick! The hotel is up to speed. In short... to advise absolutely!

Exceptional address

We had stayed at St Germain in 2021 and were dazzled by the very good kitchen, the room being simple but correct and very clean. So we went back there with friends, in a duplex room for 4 to let them discover the good kitchen of M.Tupin. First note, in the room for 4 just 1/2 crystal clear water... Then at the table,We took the gourmet menu for the 4.

July 2021 fabulous May 2022 disappointing

Very good hotel near Château Chalon and Baume Les Messieurs. Newly renovated, very well-arranged rooms. Flawless bathrooms. Good bedding. Cozy extra lunch, with regional products. Hostellerie Saint Germain is a nice surprise in the heart of the Jura.

A wonderful surprise

Absolutely nothing to say except that we had a great time. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated, impeccably clean. The dinner was really good. And the tasty and varied breakfast. All with a very smiling and warm team. Thank you.

The restaurant room is beautiful, both sober and classy, the shaded terrace is magnificent with its large plates and the well-presented dishes are simply delicious. From start to finish it is without a fault. To emphasize also, a large free and shaded parking lot at the back of the restaurant. The fatty duck liver with berries and its apple jelly is excellent; the hairy calf laughter whose small cooking is perfectly controlled, it is not common and therefore not deserves to be accompanied by a small, underlined caviar, so wonderful are its delicious carrots.

The excellence

Three beautiful stone buildings. Very warm home. Very relaxed atmosphere marked by great respect for the client. Very comfortable room. Excellent meal worthy of a star. The papillae are constantly awake and the eyes too.

It's a beautiful place.

A basic three-star room, very small, tiny bathroom/toilet and all giving side of the road for 86€... it's not worth more.

It's very convenient.

The bedrooms are very good. The bed is perfect. Very nice lunches. And the restaurant is just great! A flawless service despite a crowded terrace and delicious associations. The roasted calf rice with green lemon zest, a treat!! The liver fat is exceptional, the desserts even for non-adherents, and the great wine map at very reasonable prices.

Cycling on the road

As a family, some from Switzerland and others from France, we came to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday. A joyous welcome from a charming young lady, with a wide smile. To get outside where we were placed, we passed through a modern dining room with white, new, gray-tied furniture that creates a great brightness in the room, not to mention a beautiful terrace in the shade of the plates, which could be better dreamed of by this radiant weather. The menu proposals were very tempting. The meal was sour, the dishes were served without waiting, which was very pleasant. We all served each other. The pleasant young lady with a smile ruled us with a great lack of discretion, calmness and delicacy. Then, at the end of the meal, the hotel, because of its beautiful history, came back to the restaurant, and we were happy to enjoy it. We had a lovely, lovely restaurant, which we had enjoyed for three years.

Gastronomic dining, beautiful setting, quiet and impeccable service.

We had lunch in this beautiful restaurant where the old and the contemporary get married for the treat of the eyes... but the treat was not only in the eyes! but also in the mouth. Very nice presentation, beautiful fresh and juicy products. The discreet staff is very pleasant. We will return and invite you to stop in this charming village and push the door of the restaurant which is also a hotel. I will not talk about the rooms that have not seen them, but I am sure they are clean and cocooning.
