We were delighted to get a late booking at this lovely hotel and stayed Monday to Thursday. Our room had sea views and was comfortable, very clean and well equipped. I was especially happy to get a room with a bathroom for disabled guests as I have rheumatoid arthritis and this made life easier for me. I emailed ahead to ask if parking would be available and they very helpfully reserved a numbered bay for us in their secure park behind the property. The hotel is easy to find on the seafront. Reception was prompt, friendly and courteous. Now what more can I say? Breakfast was good; there’s a great seafood restaurant two steps away called La Houle (see separate review), Saint Gilles Croix de Vie is a ten minute drive but you wouldn’t really want to go anywhere else with these fabulous beaches, cliffs, rock pools in front of the hotel. A great relaxing venue just perfect. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. I cannot say if any speak English as we only spoke French to them. Highly recommended!
