What an experience we had during our visit to Le Grand Joux.
The accommodation, service, food and scenery were right on point.

Here's the top 5 pros and cons.

PROS
1. The Service, truly top notch from Joe and Robyn.
2. The Food, almost everything is French, extremely fresh and oh so tasty.
3. The Room, so comfortable and personalised, with 5 hour timers on the artificial candles.
4. The Hot Tub, particularly spectacular at 40c-44c at night, gazing at the stars - I caught a glimpse at 7 shooting stars.
5. The scenery... Wow.

CONS
1. At random intervals, the drain in the walk-in shower decided to gargle at us for about 5 seconds, several times during the day and night. Slightly annoying to us, however several attempts were made to resolve the issue. I believe it was only with our room (Room 2 Acacia).

Absolutely amazing!The team cannot do enough for you and the food was fabulous.Great location and scenery.Definately recommend.Use of hot tub and sauna.Only 5 rooms so very intimate which meant you were well looked after.Would love to go back!

Amazing!

This was a superb getaway for my girlfriend and I. The house is beautifully decorated and the spa facilities - plus outdoor hot tub are glorious. Robyn, Joe and Chef Matt do a very skilled job of taking care of you in a professional, personal yet laid back way. I felt the service was ideal in that regard as we received a lovely welcome, great food and drink service and also advice about the local area. 

Our room was wonderfully presented and when we requested a change of bedding due to an allergy (that we had forgotten to pre warn about), this was not a problem. 

The food was fantastic and the house white wine is superb value and worth taking down to the hot tub on an evening. 

This is a perfect house located up a breathtakingly beautiful mountain. Driving is pretty much essential as Morzine is near, but a 20 minute drive due to the mountain roads. The journeys are spectacular however and Chamonix is just over an hour away. Driving up to Le Grand Joux is very exciting too.

Sensational relaxation AND adventures

The chalet has got a very special, wonderful design - it felt like being home. Everything was just perfect!
Joe is an exceptional manager and host. With great attention to details and great attitude to help, Joe and his team (Robyn and Matt) made our holiday to a wonderful stay.

An unforgettable experience

We did not know what to expect before arriving at Le Grand Joux, especially driving up the long windy road to get there...but what a hidden gem it is! 
The Grand Joux offers a perfect combination of luxury and 5 star service with a friendly warm atmosphere. 
Jo and Robyn were absolutely amazing, they made us feel right at home and super comfortable and all our needs and requests were met with warmth and ease. 
The food was to die for, Mat is an incredible chef, every meal was amazing! I especially loved that they source most of the ingredients locally. The 3 course meal was affordable and far exceeded the standard of many fancy restaurants! The canape and amuse bouche were an added bonus of yumminess. 
The Chalet itself is decorated beautifully and the rooms and beds super comfortable. The outdoor spa area featuring a hot tub, sauna and cold plunge pool AMAZING after a days hiking! 
It is cosy, with only 5 rooms, you are certainly made to feel very special, but in a warm and casual way - not like the stiff 5 star service you receive at some hotels. 
The surrounding area is beautiful, it's a perfect place to spend a few days to recharge tge batteries. 
We cannot fault our stay at Le Grand Joux, it was perfect in every way.
