Nice hotel with very friendly staff. 
Nice reception, the rooms are well maintained.  maybe slightly dated but that is part of the atmosphere of this accommodation.  The restaurant was fine with products from the region.  We enjoyed our short stay.

Great value hotel; clean and well eqipped; lovely restaurant wioth beautiful terrace oputside; nice staff.
Veryu well placed for exploring local wineries.
We would have liked soap in the bathroom as well as in the shower!

Great value hotel.

This is an unpretentious hotel, with super friendly staff, serving lovely fresh local food and local wines. It's reasonably basic, but more than adequate and set in a lovely country setting, with lovely view of the Ardeche hills although just a stones throw off a main road.The pool is a decent size and car parking is more than plentiful.

A lovely place to stop overnight

The hospitality at this family owned hotel is just exceptional. Friendly helpful flexible and most cooperative are the words that are applicable. If all hotels were run in this fashion, the hotel industry in France would have a better image. 
A massive compliment to the owner his wife and their staff.

If we need to be in the area again there is just one place to stay, Le mas De Mon Pere!

Best hospitality

The Mas de Mon Pere looks an impressive building from the road. And that impression continues as you pull into the car park. A nice terrace at the front and a classy looking restaurant continue the good impression and the room we had was functional and reasonably spacious. So, all good so far.

But the thing about a hotel like this one in an isolated spot is that the restaurant needs to be good as there are no other easily available options nearby for eating in the evening.

Sadly “no alternative” is the theme of the restaurant. The fixed price menus have a very limited choice for each course. So we considered going a la carte – but then found that the a la carte menu is essentially the fixed price menus decomposed and written in a different order. My wife did find two starters that didn’t feature on a fixed price menu, but on enquiring was told that neither was available.

So we reverted to the fixed price menus that are somewhat pricey and didn’t produce particularly generous portions either. We had to remind the waiter three times before the wine finally arrived, by which time we were well advanced into eating our main courses.

But it was all done in a very stylish, up market fashion. We would have settled for a stained table cloth if we had a decent choice and portion size at competitive prices. In the morning, breakfast was adequate for the price, no more than that. We won’t be going back.

Restaurant flatters to deceive

This hotel is in the back Country Very nice set up.Nice and warm reception from the personnel Rooms are very clean ,nothing fancy just average with all amenities,phone ,TV and free WIFI.
Prices are reasonable and average for the area,now you will be garanteed a good rest and sleep.
Breakfast  plentifull with local cold meat ,bread and jams and of course fresh croissants.
Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Noticed breakfast is not included in the price of the room and will be charged 9.50  Euros per person.(12.00 US).

Nice place away from the freeway

A wonderful hotel probably the best Logis I have stayed at ever the owner was attentive helpful and made our stay a delight,
The rooms well designed very clean and comfortable,
The restaurant was adventurous and reasonably priced.
Very good staff in all I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone
