We stayed a night at the 2-star Hotel de l’Oise because it is close to the Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from which we were leaving the next day, and because its restaurant is highly recommended on TA.

Our room was a couple of floors up some steep stairs from the restaurant. The decor of the fairly small room was what I'd call "quaint" in pink. We could hear people in the adjacent stairwell, and I heard staff arriving around 6:30 a.m. the next morning.

Having said that, the bed was comfortable (although the pillows were just OK) and we slept well. The shower had perhaps the best water pressure we'd encountered during our two weeks in France. And there were actual bars of soap and bottles of shampoo, instead of the body wash dispenser, etc. that is the current fashion.

Small, clean, and quaint

We stopped here on our overnight stop down south. Arrived at 5:30’in the evening and had a very warm welcome from the host. She gave us our keys (family of four sharing two adjoining rooms) and we climbed up the stairs to drop off our bags and shower etc ahead of going out to eat.

The rooms were small but very clean and tidy. The bathroom was well appointed and everything was very well done.

Was excellent to have the adjoining room as 14year olds really don’t want to spend any additional time with their parents! 

We were very comfortable that night. The beds are so comfy. Room was warm as there is no air con but there was an efficient fan.

Breakfast the following day was absolutely delicious! Cold meat and cheeses, yoghurts bread pudding (which was to die for), bread and pastries, fresh juices and wonderful coffee. We were well placed for our onward journey and will def stay again!

Overnight stop in beautiful setting

Our  room was small, but well equipped with adequate storage space, a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. The breakfast provided was good (although they could not provide my husband with gluten free bread), but with cold meat and cheese as well as well as delicious marzipan bread and good bread and croissants. Our hostess was very helpful.

We enjoyed two good evening meals at the auberge.

We had a very happy 2 night stay in this charming auberge next to a river.

First and foremost is the fantastic effort made by the couple who run the hotel ; nothing is too much trouble for them.
The hotel itself is in a very pretty location opposite the river.
Both my visits have been under difficult personal problems but just for a short time my problems disappeared during both stays at this superb hotel.
As for the the restaurant - the best meals I have eaten for five years.
And very fairly priced.
I might regret writing this review because I fully intend to return very soon !

My second visit

We chose this hotel by chance. Decided we wanted to be by a river somewhere in this area. Having always found Logis De France hotels to be good enough, we were not expecting anything special, just something OK. The owner looked after us so well. We had safe private parking two adjoining rooms for our family of 5 and the food was excellent. It included fabulous rillette with our aperitifs and a little sorbet during the meal which was unexpected. Really nice friendly staff at breakfast with a good choice of items and super coffee. Would love to go again. Recommended.

Superb hotel and restaurant

Nice hotel with good staff. We had a lovely dinner. Between courses we were surprised with champagne and other delicacies. We had a star treatment for a very reasonable price. At night we could park our car at the private area of the hotel.

Excellent dinner, good sleep!

Warm welcome by the friendly hostess on a snowy evening. Parking is free at the front of the hotel. The room was smallish but clean and comfortable. It also had a lovely view of the river.
Luckily I booked a table at the restaurant, because the place was rammed by 8 pm. That was unsurprising after eating there. Truly excellent! More details in my separate revue under restaurants.

Worth staying here eve if just for the restaurant!

Very nice hotel close to the Oise River.
Rooms are clean, large enough and with a good quality-price relationship.
Restaurant is incredible. Local dishes prepared with passion. Both meat and fish are absolutely valuable. Very good wine list. Try it, you won't regret. 

Nice room, great restaurant 

Wonderful restaurant that has a great reputation and people come from miles around just to eat there.  We heard that and had to try it.  We booked for a Saturday night and were very lucky to hear that the suggestion for the starter for the evening was Fruits de Mer.  It was fantastically fresh and we were in heaven.  Then came the cote de boeuf - oh boy, beautifully cooked, but even with my appetite I struggled to eat it all.  We loved this restaurant so much that we went back for lunch the following Tuesday.  The wine list has great choice from affordable wines to really good, but very expensive ones.  A joy to find in this small village.  Recommend you book as it is very popular!
