The most wonderful place! I've never experienced such helpful friendly campsite owners. They honestly couldn't do enough to help. The site is beautiful and so well maintained.  Great location for visiting lovely places nearby. So tranquil. We will be back next year for sure!

Super amazing place!

This site was excellent, we booked a weeks stay in our tent and opted for a pitch with a private sanitary unit. This was great to have, it has a shower/ loo and a fridge and washing up facilities within. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. A baker comes each morning at 8.30 with his van so you can purchase fresh baguettes, croissants etc. There is a little bar within the village but unfortunately it was closed during our stay but believe it’s worth a visit. Would love to stay here again as there are still more places to visit and a week just wasn’t long enough.

Great Site

The site is a little gem. Close to Mont St Michel.Beautiful views over the Bay. Sylvain made us very welcome and was on hand to answer any questions we may have had. She spoke perfect English but was happy for me to practice my dreadful French. Baker arrives each morning with fresh bread and other delicious items. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. Showers were clean and so warm.

Beautiful campsite

This is a wonderful site with a nice pool and great views. There is good shade and the plots are nicely private with hedges between them. It is quiet well maintained and clean. The only negative is that you must pay for wifi

Lovely stay near the sea

Camping Le Balcon de la Baie, what an amaizing fine this site had lovely surroundings and great views.
The facilities was all very functional and clean, plenty of hot water for showering & washing up.
The owner was so helpful providing maps and information, nearby cycle routes made for a lovely daytrip to Mont St. Michel, the site also has a daily visit from a local baker to sell fresh bread Etc.
There is a small on site shop selling the basics for us that was a bottle of local wine on arrival.

We would 100% reccomend and would visit again.

Campervan trip in Brittany

We spent nearly 3 months at Le Balcon , the host where very kind and helpful . The campsites was very busy in July and August with mainly Dutch families but it was always friendly. The view is spectacular and the site is served with daily food and bread . We left with great regret as it was a true home from home. Thankyou Gaelle and Sylvain

Good experience

We have just arrived back from a three week stay at this wonderful campsite. The owners are fantastic and are always on hand to answer any questions you may have or just want a friendly chat about the weather ! 
The pitches are large enough to fit our large tent and transit on and there are hedges in between to segregate you from the neighbours and give you a bit of privacy.
The site as a good mix of English, Belgium, Dutch and French people and all were very friendly.
The night time curfew was adhered too very well and all you could here were the resident owls hooting to each other.
Our kids loved the swimming pool and went in it every day, it’s about as warm as the Mediterranean !! It’s a great place to go and relax and watch the kids and there’s plenty of sun loungers to choose from.
The food trucks that come every day apart from one are fantastic, especially the Pizza truck and the ice cream man, we highly recommend the Salted caramel flavour ice cream it was delicious.
The toilet block is mixed sex so everyone uses the one block which was ok. There was always hot water for showers and they were always kept very clean. Outside of the toilet block are ample washing up sinks, again plenty of hot water supplied.
There is a games room with a pool table, bar football, games, a TV and a couple of pinball machines. Outside is a table tennis table which we tried several times. 
The views of the bay from the campsite are fantastic and we spent many an evening watching the sun set on the horizon.
Located just a 10-15 minute drive from Pontorson it’s ideally located for doing shopping or eating out, in Pontorson itself there are three supermarkets. Mont saint Michel is about is about 20 minutes away and well worth a visit. 
Overall a fantastic site. We are going a little further into Brittany next year to explore but we will certainly be back one day and look forward to seeing you all again

Fantastic camping holiday

Gaelle and Sylvain have a wonderful campsite at Balcon de la Baie, The location is superb and yet still easy to access from main roads when towing a large caravan.

We stayed here for 3 nights 2 years ago and liked the site and area so much we visited for 2 weeks this year and brought my parents with us as well in their caravan. 

The site is immaculately kept, from the pool to the steps to the toilets and showers, it's all spotlessly clean.

There is plenty to do for all the family, from swimming, boules, badminton, table tennis plus the wifi is reliable and of a speed that's useable for all but HD live streaming.

There is a bread van that delivers all sorts of delicious goodies every morning as well as various local food vans that visit most nights. 

Gaelle and Sylvain are both very friendly and speak excellent English.

The site at night is very quiet, the only noise to keep you awake is the pair of owls chatting to each other from nearby trees, it's a lovely sound to fall asleep to. We'll be back in 2 years time when it's my turn to choose the holiday destination again. 

Sylvain, my father says his offer to but the campsite still stands. :D

Lovely quiet campsite

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August, we though it was a super campsite. Fantastic communication with the owners before hand as I had a few questions. We were a family with older children, they enjoyed the games room mostly and pool. Wifi was also used and very good! Showers and toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We also used the washing machines and tumble dryer both adequate. The campsite is in a great location and there is lots to do in the area. We visited the 2 local restaurants which both served great food, we also had food from the trucks that visited most nights, again great food. Having a baker visit in mornings selling bread etc was a bonus and the bread was delicious. Gaelle and Sylvain were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, they booked restaurants and the local vet for us. We would recommend this campsite.

Camping with the family!

We only booked a couple of nights as a stop over but we're so taken by the campsite we stayed a week. Friendly helpful owners who went the extra mile. Peaceful location with beautiful pool.Every morning the bakers van arrived with fresh bread etc. We also liked the option of the food trucks that came to the site so did not have to go off site to enjoy a meal. Facilities very clean and well looked after. Overall a lovely stay thank you
