We stayed at the Chateau as a belated birthday  gift fir 3 nights. The Chateau is lovely , set in lovely gardens evening in the winter months . Its a very peaceful , serene setting but within a short drive to Bayeau. Vincent and Corrine were so welcoming  and Vincent breakfast were one of the best we have had particularly the homemade Kiwi Jam and apple juice. Our room was spacious and very comfortable with a lovely large bathroom. We particularly enjoyed the kettle, Coffee/tea in the room and the bottles of water daily. We could not recommend the Chateau highly enough,and hope to one day return.

Fabulous,  peaceful, serene Chateau

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at this wonderful castle/chateau. It is really close to Bayeux but off on it's own ( you will need a car) The family who owns it is lovely and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious!! Vincente also cooks a fabulous dinner if you want to eat there ( costs extra but well worth it!!) We will definitely stay here again if in the area again!

Excellent experience

The service at this bed and breakfast château could not be better! Vincent is an amazing chef and his  fresh crêpes, desserts and made to order eggs were among the most delicious we had in France. He and his wife, Corinne were so warm and welcoming to all their guests. We stayed in the Suite Catherine de Sureau which provided far more space than we needed, including a sitting room, sunroom, large bath, and comfortable bed. The secluded château provided the perfect resting place after our time in Paris. It’s location was excellent for touring both the American and British landing sites, as well as several other local attractions. The tapestry of Bayeux is not to be missed, by the way. Dining in Bayeux has limited options, so we recommend you make arrangements in advance with Vincent to enjoy his multi course dinner at least once during your stay.

Beautiful location and even better service

The host was so gracious and helpful, especially when our flight was cancelled and after driving from Charles de Gaulle airport we were 8 hours later.  We checked in after hours obviously, but Vincent left the door open  and led us to our rooms with yellow post-it notes.The breakfast Vincent prepared was amazing. It was so quiet and peaceful, I already want to return.

Only place to stay

Stayed here for one night after seeing the Bayern Tapestry. It was fantastic. The accommodation was comfortable and full of character. The owners were friendly and very helpful. The evening meal was excellent both in terms of quality and value for money. The breakfast was exceptional.

This was the most beautiful and comfortable bed and breakfast my husband and I have ever visited. We actually went several years ago, but we still talk about it more than any other place we have stayed. (And we travel several times a year). The Chateau is gorgeous, and the setting is beautiful and serene. Vincent is by far the most hospitable host we have ever had. He makes fabulous breakfasts, and his dinner (you have to make reservations and pay extra) is delicious. The whole experience from the room, to the meals, to the setting, to the guests, was a dream come true.

The Chateau is a Beautiful and imposing building with Lovely gardens and Fountain 
Vincent and Corrine were very welcoming and the room was out of this world.
We opted for the Table de Hote  and Vincent cooked us a wonderful meal with wines, he is an exceptional Chef and the hospitality was first class.
Breakfast was great with a great selection of hot and cold food a huge plate of fresh crepe and cooked breakfast. Thank you for making our Anniversary so special.
We will be back !

Beautiful Chateau on the outskirts of BYeux Normandy
Retains its original character with polite modernisation in areas like bathroom/wc 
We had a wonderful stay with an amazing buffet breakfast and hot dish all presented and cooked by the host

Classic French Chateau.

The chateau is a charming, reasonably priced base for visiting the Normandy beaches and Bayeux. Reserve for dinner if you possibly can. Vincent is an amazing chef and served a fabulous multi-course dinner with two wines for a very reasonable  35 euro/person. The first course, fish, shrimp and vegetables en papillote, had the whole house smelling amazing for hours.  Breakfast was also wonderful.
