The staff are particularly nice and welcoming. The hotel claims to have been refurbished. I have stayed in several of their rooms this last year, all painted recently. In each the sanitaryware was old tired scratched and stained - so stained it could not appear clean even if it was. The reason I still choose to go there is the excellent and wide ranging buffet at the  New China Town Restaurant next door (closed Mondays).

Tired but good value

Avoid at all costs. Its dirty and discussting. Full of bugs. Toilet was not cleaned. It was full of bugs. Bed was full of pubic hair. I would be happier if I rent space under the bridge. Service awful. Avoid not worth of money.

Dirty

Very noisy, not clean. We booked this hotel for a night on our way to the Alps. The room was very small and smelly. In the bathroom someone left a cotton bud in the sink hole that has not been removed since then. The bottom of the shower and the sink were old because there was moss on it. The cups in the bathroom were used, you could clearly see that someone has used them before.
The only positive thing was the kind receptionist that open us late to check in. 
Not recommend it.

Very noisy and unhygienic.

Dirty rooms, strong smell of cigarette smoke, barely covered by chemical air freshener. bathrooms were dirty and smelt, couldn't bare to use the shower. Floor was sticky throughout.  our 3 person room had a single bed that blocked the door, making access interesting, never mind fire safe??
 A complete rip off at £47 / room/ night. Booked online in advance - never again.

Dreadful - don't book!

Very correct hotel for unbelievably low price. No it’s not the best hotel in the world but at 34 € it’s excellent! Less noisy than comparable F1. Even little toilet with wash basin en suite. Showers in corridor. Very helpful and courteous young man at reception. 

Unbeatable price

Paid for two 3p rooms, turns out that one room has not been cleaned!! Dirty sheets, dirty towels and smelly....!
Only 1 option: another hotel and get our money back from Booking.com!!
Not what you need when travelling with 4 kids !!!! 

Te vermijden! Avoid! A éviter! 

We stopped here for a night on our way to the Alps. It’s a good 5 1/2 from Calais. The 24 hour check in machine is good (if you have two rooms, the second key dropping out isn’t obvious so double check the bottom of the machine) 

The parking is nice and safe - gated and security lights which is good as my husband was paranoid about leaving our campervan! 

We checked  into our rooms (they don’t do family rooms so we each had a room with one child) and it was where our experiences were very different! My room had a weird food smell, a broken shower head and broken loo flush. It was also noisy as we were by the stairs. My husband and other daughter had a larger room (although same price) smelt normal (!), working shower and the loo flush was intact. 

The price at £78 for both rooms was really good so it did the trick, and if we had the same good room I’d give it a good 4 stars.
