Cycling friends, a cycling internship in the Alps of about 20 people... a deplorable address, Spartan comfort, dirty, no heating.

Hello, this place looks a lot like a youth hostel. Large hallway with multiple rooms, very minimalist decoration, kind of dormitory. The room has the minimum of comfort, but that's enough. On the other hand, for the price, you have to bring your sleeping bags and clean up when you leave. Knowing that the room was not nickel on arrival. The mattress is comfortable, the heating is at room temperature and the shower is functional. For the restaurant, you can request the menu of the shower in vegetarian. Simple kitchen, but which fills the stomach. The manager is friendly, well served quickly.

We are here in the spirit of a house. In the middle of a mountain in a small hamlet. The place is very quiet. The reception was nice and our host was friendly. He informed us about beautiful walks that were beautiful. The room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom and toilet very well. Powerful WiFi. You have to bring his sheets, of course, but it is a bed with an unbeatable price. We could eat in a splendid setting. Our host accepted that we put things in the fridge and offered accessories politely. We did not have small breakfasts and meals we do not advise. For a short stay and sending the necessary food for the attention to quality/price ratio is unbeatable. Less than 10 km.

It gives more of an idea of a refugee or hostel than a hotel. Located on the mountain, isolated, with stunning views and silence. You have to bring a sheet and towels, otherwise they sell you a sheet of paper, use and throw, to the hair. There is only toilet paper, no soaps. You have to keep the room clean, autonomously (but now that there is Covid19?). Breakfast is discreet and not included in the price. It is also convenient to book dinner, in the surroundings there is nothing. An antipasto, a second (something cooked in the oven in earthenware, pastry, cheese, ham doughnuts). Managers are very courteous.

Adaptation Needs to Be Done

We had found this place through online booking sites and stayed there from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. The setting was magical and unspeakable. We were looking for simplicity, friendliness and warm welcome and we were satisfied. Our stay was very good and we decided to go with the family for a walk to the hill of the Galibier and the Massif des Écrans. The car broke down in the 21 corners of the Alpes d'Huez. This breakdown ruined our weekend but it was not counting the generosity, foresight, sympathy, kindness of two guests who came to look for us at the station of Saint-Michel and allowed us to return to our extraordinary livestock.

The reception was horrible!!!! nobody can welcome someone like this! Not even a hello. We ate on chairs worthy of a canteen (see also not). And the room we don't talk about: no room to enter the room or the toilet. The shower joints were black and dirty. Really horrible I advise you not to go there!!!

For those who are looking for simplicity, family atmosphere, a truly improved cabin atmosphere, it is a place where you feel good in a charming and relaxing setting, ideal for skiing, racketing, beautiful ski resorts are within half an hour, a wonderful place for mountain biking too.

Comfort is spartiate. Dinner was bad. Lentil sauces. Breakfast etc. No effort. The manager is not friendly. We seem to bother him. He should be doing another job.
