I did not stay at the Chateau myself but I have a house nearby and some of my friends did as part of a birthday weekend I organised. I visited the Chateau and inspected the accommodation and facilities and spoke with the owner. The Chateau is a large and impressive period building in a quiet location in the village but within easy walking distance of the centre. It has a grand entrance. The downstairs is very much traditional period French. The bedrooms are very spacious and each has a theme e.g. traditional French, one is in Indian style and another Moroccan. There is a 'gite' style family suite The owner was very friendly and helpful. All 4 of my friends said how comfortable the accommodation was and how much they enjoyed their stay It seemed to me like very good value for money
