We were welcomed as warmly as family and treated as such our entire stay. 
Yves and Pascale are proud and knowledgeable of the area. They are glad to help you in any possible way.  The rooms are spotless and well appointed. 
The area is beautiful and within driving distance to many other interesting towns.

Beautiful Le Mas du Chanoine

Pascal and Yves provide the perfect welcome to their home in the hills above Nice.  Its the perfect antidote to the stress of everyday life and work and I will be forever grateful of our time spent with them.  Large rooms, comfortable beds and wonderful homemade breakfasts made for the perfect stay.

Perfection!

What can we say about Mas du Chanoine that hasn't already been said. It is truly a magical place. We stayed for 8 days at the end of May and could not have had a better time.

Pascale and Yves are beyond fantastic hosts, from the incredible breakfasts to their knowledge and passion for the area they were the perfect hosts. The house itself is stunning, with equally stunning views across the valley which we very happy enjoyed from the beside pool. Our room was spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean every day, with only three rooms available the whole stay had an intimate feel to it.

Le Mas du Chanoine is perfectly located to enjoy all the hotspots of the Cote d'Azur with everything in easy reach with a car, but set away from the hustle of the big cities. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Everything has been thought of to make a stay the most enjoyable it can be and we would highly recommend Le Mas du Chanoine to anybody considering booking a stay. It is a special place and we hope to return for another stay in the future.

A truly special place to stay

We stayed for seven nights and everything was perfect. The mas is beautiful and at the top of a hill with good views. There are beautiful grounds and a very nice pool with loungers and sun umbrellas. Our room was large and beautifully decorated.  There are only three rooms so a limited number of guests which was refreshing. Breakfast was always great.  The best part was the assistance and care provided by the owners and hosts. The family lives at the mas and they are truly dedicated to making sure their guests have a wonderful vacation. Whether it was making dinner reservations, planning sightseeing activities or hiking, or just telling you where to find parking, they were always there to help. They were always gracious and friendly.  The location at the east edge of the Cote d’ Azure is also plus. Lots of interesting sites and activities are close by.  A wonderful stay.

Perfect.

"Exceptional" is used appropriately. The Mas is well situated on a ridge from which the views are splendid. It is a quiet, secure, location entered through an electric gate with excellent parking. The garden is spacious and delightful with access to a good sized swimming pool and private area with sun loungers for those coming later in the season. Our room, which was accessed directly from the garden was spacious and very well equipped to the level you might expect in a luxury hotel. Everything appeared well thought out and well maintained. Our hosts Yves and Pascale are charming, their planning meticulous and Pascale's breakfasts difficult to beat.

An Exceptional Find

Fabulous location and tranquil setting with amazing views. Pascale and Yves were excellent hosts with advise about where to visit and even made our restaurant bookings.
Pascale produced home made French toast (best I’ve ever had) crepes & madeleines each morning with jams from fruit in their beautiful garden. 
We could not have asked for more.
Cannot wait to go back again.

We were here for the 2nd time and had amazing days. Pascale and Yves are wonderful hosts. They are looking after every detail to make you feel home. The breakfast is home made and super delicious. They also help with finding good restaurants. Thanks again for the really good time.

Feels like home

If you’re looking a calm getaway from the busy city of Nice, head to the Mas du Chanoine without a doubt. Ideally situated (10 min from Saint Paul de Vence, 20 min from Nice), the Mas is beautiful, with its gorgeous and luxurious garden and swimming pool facing the village. The room is spacious and very clean. Pascale and Yves will make you feel at home. They are the kindest hosts we could have dreamed of. They are resourceful, thoughtful and have always a kind word for you. Their breakfast is to die for with different homemade jellies and pastries every day. We would have loved to stay longer and will have to come back in the future!

Heaven on earth

We spent 3 nights in Le Mas du Chamoine 
We were travelling with one of our daughter and chose Le Petit Mas (two rooms, 1 bathroom)
Location is perfect to visit Nice, Vence, St Paul de Vence...
Room is very clean and confortable
Breakfast are fantastic
Pascale et Yves the owners are doing the best to please the guests.

Perfect place to visit the region

I spent three wonderful days and nights at Le Mas du Chanoine. Perfectly positioned to take in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and St Paul de Vence, but the property is large enough to allow you to feel that you are in your own private garden. My room was beautifully decorated, the bed very comfortable adorned with crisp white linen and there is a small fridge in which to put a well earned Provençal Rosé to be enjoyed at the end of a long day exploring the many beautiful villages and art galleries that abound in the area. A car is necessary as the Mas is a few kilometers from such sights - and which allows you to further explore this beautiful part of France. 
Pascale and Yves are the most gracious of hosts - offering a wealth of knowledge of the area, scrumptious breakfasts and a keen eye for detail.  I will definitely return when I visit again.
