We had some lovely days in this hotel. The place is beautiful with a nice flair.
There are plenty of things to do in this area, if you like active holidays (hiking, biking, canoeing). We had diner there 2 times in 4 days and were sad that there was no diner the other days. 
It was excellent and compared with the restaurants around I would guess the best value for your money. 
I would definitely come back.

Perfect stay

We stayed here in May and I still regret booked here. 
Audrey - the owner - is quite strict and apparently was not in a good mood. Never experienced such a bad atmosphere in a B&B in France (and we have visted quite a few) We were not welcomed friendly but got a 'quick and dirty' update in French on the history of the B&B. When we asked if we could have a drink because we had driven 400 kms we were ignored... So we left to the village and had some drinks and dinner there at the pizza.
When we came back our room was like a sauna. There is no aircon, the windows are small and the only way to survive a night here is to keep your roomdoor open at night. No privacy anymore but this is the only way to survive the hot air in the room. We measured over 28 degrees here, quite unhealthy.
During breakfast we were told that we should not have booked via booking.com but should have booked here directly... Audry even asked me if I would consider trying to cancell my booking so we could arrange entre-nous the bill for our staying here. What a facade! 
On top of this you have to pay extra for coffee and for your 2 eggs at breakfast (2,50 euro!). Cheese nor ham is for free. Only the 'homemade' weird coloured jam is for free. ...we did not touch this..
So in brief, no friendly atmosphere. The mini Swimmingpool is joke. Rooms are small, warm and noisy. Overpriced and no go area!

Fortunately we also enjoyed the real and perfect B&B's so we can quickly forget this Le Mas des Monedes.

Worst experience ever!

A reasonable b&b but with some limitations..
First you have to park your car outside which means that you have to walk up a steep hill with your luggage.
The room are clean but very very small. There is no aircon so we have had some hot days (nad nights there). So is the swimming pool: clean but not more than 4 people can stay in there at the same time. The owners are strict and miss warmth so do not expect much of them. Price is above a avarage so maybe better to look for alternatives..

Room for improvement

We had a lovely stay of 4 days in this nice b&b. An old house restaured by the owners, you can feel how they put their hart in it! The room (la calade) is big and clean also the bathroom was magnificent, big with a walk-in shower. Make sure you have at least one diner, the husband is the chef and knows his way around a kitchen! Absolutely perfect! Also the hostes is very friendly and will help you with everything you need. I would recommand this b&b to everyone!

Perfect!

This place is a beautiful converted house with design qualities. Everything is made to perfection. We had a spacious bed, there was a ventilator in the room, that was absolutely necessary because of the warm temperatures outside. The spacious shower and beautiful bathroom was a delight. Nice is the separate toilet in the room. The owners are also speaking good english.

But there are many rules. In fact you need not to be in the house between 10 am and 4 pm. If you like to rest because of the many traveling it is not easy in this place. Every day the rooms will be cleaned between 10 and 12. When we suggested to leave it for the day it couldn't. It has to be done. You were allowed to use to poole after 4 pm until 7 pm. If you want to dine in the evening you need to tell it yourself. Nobody reminded you. 
Breakfast was good but very sweet. If you like and egg or ham or cheese you have to pay extra. 

I like to stay at b&b's because of the connection with the owners or with others guests. This place is stunning but is missing real hospitality. There are guest who prefer this. But not for me. I miss the ambience and warmth. 

I will not return to this place despite of the beauty.
