Well this was the worst hotel I ha stayed in yet.
Checked in and told to walk 300 feet across the car
Park it the Leung Tsing to the converted coach house.
Needed a torch to find the place and when I eventually found the room my heart sank.
Size of a garden shed, heater was a blow fan and not working.
So went over for tea and reported this and they had nothing else.
The floor was that cold you needed to shoes , especially in the bathroom.
Evening meal was delicious and breakfast the us French things.
I cut my stay short due to this and checked into a normal hotel.

Ice Station Zebra

The hotel is in Saint Pere-sur-Loire which is on the other side of the Loire. A short crossing of the bridge will get you just near the castle and to the center of Sully. The hotel has many rooms facing the Loire and the castle on the other side of the river, a beautiful view which makes you forget the road between the hotel and the river. Unfortunately the hotel shows its age. The rooms still have the old locks with a key, our room had a quite old bath with an uncomfortable shower. The breakfast is nothing special.

A beautiful view is not enough

Hotel is standard french, small tv, not very comfortable pillows, wc separated from rest of bath in a very tight "room" ( I'll never understand why.....). But:

AMAZING FOOD: I had a full menu with escargots,  duck ( incredible tasty!!) and mix of French cheeses..I really suggest...
I'll come back for sure 

Amazing dinner

I would like to express my gratitude to the personnel of the hotel for their hospitality. The small cozy room was properly cleaned and equipped with a good heating system (important for winter), the breakfast had a lot of choice, the staff was polite.
Btw: located just on the other side of the Chateau! :)

Excellent stay

Absolutly wonderfully situated hotel! We had our best meal in France ever! Everything was perfekt and we will remember this a long time. We had tournedos wich was perfectly medium rare and a very good quality. Dessert was "parfait".
The hotel is nice, clean and friendly and the ovners are really friendly and helpful and make you feel comfortable.
Its a small walk to the castle and its a wonderful sight from the room.
Parking is closed during the night.

A hidden gem!

Small rooms with weak AC.  Adequate for a quick stay.
This hotel is close to Sully sur Loire and to St Benoit sur Loire which both have interesting sights.  We ate in Sully sur Loire at the Petit Onion which had good traditional French food.

Loire 2016

Excellent location over the bridge from the town centre. Very clean quiet room with a very comfortable bed, and nice addition of a balcony overlooking the river and the chateau. Only small criticism was the breakfast which we felt not really worth the extra we paid for it, but this would not stop us staying again.
