This is a lovely place to stay. The hosts were very welcoming, the room we had was expansive and furnished tastefully, with a large ensuite. We slept soundly, and breakfast was perfect. We are both particular about where we stay, and Hameau Baylesse is markedly better than almost all the other places we have stayed. We would have been very happy to stay longer.

First class.

This is a wonderful place, in a region with lots to see and do. The premises are beautiful, the owners are very friendly and offer excellent advice on the region, the room is pretty and comfy, and the breakfast is as generous as it is delicious. We will be back!

Amazing, we want to come back!

We stayed one night at this lovely home.  We did not have a reservation and were looking for places to stay in this area.  When late afternoon asking for a room for that night, I was told yes, they could accommodate us but she needed time to get the room ready for us.  We were very lucky to find this place!   When we arrived, we received a warm welcome and a suggestion to visit the village of Mirepoix, a short way away.  And a suggestion for a good restaurant.  The medieval village was wonderful and the restaurant outstanding.   Then we came back to Domaine where we were shown our lovely room.  The house is beautifully decorated and the property has many trees. and you can see the Pyrenees in the distance.  It was a great location for going to the Cathar castle Montesgur.  The room was spacious and the beds very comfortable.   The breakfast was outstanding!  All kinds of cheese and pastries, local specialties, like wonderful walnut cake,  also homemade bread and four flavors of jam.   We enjoyed visiting our hostess!   Everything was wonderful during our stay!  Would love to come back here.

Wonderful place to stay!!

We had traveled from La Castillion in Spain ( from 38 degrees ) over the Pyrenees & through Andorra into France arriving at 6pm ( in the rain & mist ) !!!
Finding this old farm house was easy, in a small but busy little village .
The lady of the house, Pascal, could not have been more helpful. 
The room on the ground floor was comfortable with complementary coffee& tea provided. The bed was most comfortable & we slept really well. 
The shower was a very modern wet room with lovely fluffy towels & complementary shower & shampoo gels.
Breakfast was included & served at the long dinning table with the other guests. The variety of pastries on offer were endless & all from the 6 village bakeries. Cerial, fruits, cold meats & cheese,everything presented beautifully.
A lovely welcoming stay.

What a lovely place to stay

We had an amazing stay on our way down to Barcelona, stunning location! Beautiful swimming pool, lovely hosts and a delicious breakfast! Wish we had of booked longer! We will be back. Emma and Alex xxx

We will be back!

Only stayed here one night but it was lovely.  Great location for exploring the region and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating.  Breakfast was especially good with a nice choice of foods.  Our room was large and the only criticism was the squeaky floorboards but as it is an old building this is to ne expected.

Delightful place

My wife and I enjoyed two nights here for a relaxed comfortable stay,  Pasquale and Jean- Jacques have a beautiful house on the side of the hill just out of town but close enough to get to the local restaurants etc.  The accomodation is well kept and comfortable, clean and with the usual amenities though the room we had did not have cooling for the summer warm evenings or a TV but this was not a major issue as it was pleasing for once to open the windows and a TV was not essential.
The location is superb as all the local sights can be visited by a short drive or walk or cycle.
All in all a great place to rest and relax in beautiful surroundings.
