Our first stay in a mazet having previously camped. Our mazet was in need of a new bathroom and kitchen and the equipment is very basic. The site is gorgeous with an excellent swimming pool, restaurant and bar. Staff friendly and helpful. We have been visiting this site on and off since the 1980s! Beautiful area with stunning scenery and gorgeous medieval towns and villages.

Nice camping, friendly people, good vibe. Large campplaces. Nice pools, enough facilities for kids, tennis court, jeu des boules and kids activities during the week. Enthousiastic staff. Close to Uzès.

We love coming back to le moulin neuf year after year because of it has the perfect combination of facilities, people, location and value for money. Small upgrades are made every year to the facilities and activities but generally it stays the same - we wouldn’t want it any other way! 

Our favourite campsite!

Le Moulin Neuf retains its special family feel after all the problems of the last two years. Friendly, helpful staff, excellent location and loads of space on site. Pool, bar and restaurant proved particularly good in this year’s high temperatures. 

As great as ever!

A wonderful relaxed campsite, set amongst established trees, with wonderful pool, good restaurant and amenities. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers, vines and olives. A stroll into St Quentin De Potteries or short trip into beautiful Uzes. Great for our extended family gathering. We will be back.

Ideal Camping Close to Uzes

Friendly staff, very helpful. Good food at the restaurant. Good facilities for the price. Would recommend. Great place to stay for easy access to Nimes, Avignon and lots of other local places of interest.

Weeks camping

My wife and I have been holidaying here since 1974, I cannot think of a better place to spend July/August. We first came with parents, then with friends, then as parents and hopefully as grandparents soon.
The bungalows/mazes are delightful for a feel of camping but indoors. Not a hotel but enough to cook shower, sit and sleep within the limits of pleasantry.
I really do not understand the negative reviews. My family , as previously stated have been coming here for over 40 years. It really is heaven on a plate. If you don’t like it then go elsewhere!

Like coming home

So many of the campsites we’ve visited in France this June have been open but clearly not ready. Moulin Neuf was a wonderful surprise as it was exactly as described on their website. The site is beautiful, lots of trees for shade or pitches in the sun. Toilet and showers were wonderful. Very clean, showers hot. Lovely play area for kids, tennis courts and two pools. The restaurant looked lovely and all cooked on site. The staff were really friendly and could not have been more helpful. Easy cycle into the fabulous town of Uzes. Great market on a Wednesday. Can also cycle in saint Quentin la poterie. Highly recommend. 

Fantastic

This site was full and I can't understand why?

The only positive for this site is that it was the cheapest we stayed at, apart from that it was dreadful, it worked out more expensive for us though as we left after one night and as we'd pre-paid we lost out on the other four nights.

The pitches are muddy, no grass, no hedge boundarys, large trees overhead most of the pitches so forget about sunbathing, there's flies and ants everywhere, both my kids were bit all up their legs with an couple of hours of being there, we really wish we never left the site we were at before this. There is also thousands of Cicada insects in the trees which are a type of cricket, they are constantly buzzing all day long, thankfully they stop at night.

The toilet and shower blocks are awful, dirty and smelly, I've also never seen a communal toilet before, it was very strange being a man using a urinal and having women and young girls walking around you. Also the toilet paper is in a dispenser on the wall outside the cubicals so you have to grab a load before you do your business.

The pool was un-useable for us as there was far too many people.

I can't comment on the area as we left at after the first night.

There is much better sites in france, avoid this one.

I don't get it?

A very family centred camp site which is perfect for a relaxing and recuperative time in the lovely Uzes area. 
The camp site has large shady pitches, a good restaurant and charming staff. And is quiet.
