Easy to find with the satnav, small family run hotel in a very quiet area.  The room was spacious, clean with a comfortable bed.  Even though it was on the ground floor you felt quite comfortable in leaving the windows open on a hot night.  There are at least 10 steps to get to your room which is in an area at the back of the small restaurant. The meal was very good with good choice and quality.  The breakfast was also good with nice French bread and croissants and local cheeses.  The whole feel was comfortable, not too fancy and very welcoming.  Really nice that you could walk to the beach which was about 3 mins away, quite a rugged area with large pebbles but very quiet and pretty.  Really good value for money, English spoken.

Comfy auberge

This little auberge took a bit of finding but it's well worth the effort.  Our room was in a little block (converted from stables perhaps?) a few yards from the main building, was perfectly clean and comfortable, lacking only the facility for making tea/coffee. WiFi connection in the room (free) was good. Access was via a short flight of steps so it might not be suitable for those of limited mobility - but at least one room is accessible directly at ground level from the little car park in front. The owners are a young couple who work extremely hard to give their guests a happy stay; Madame speaks some English too, which makes life easier for those who find the French language too difficult. Monsieur, the chef, is very friendly and runs an excellent kitchen. The food offering is not extensive, three or four choices per course, but everything is expertly prepared and nicely presented and most people will find something they like. Top class. There is an area of garden at the rear of the auberge and a good-sized terrace at the front with chairs & tables for the better weather. Walkers will be pleased to note that the coastal path passes the front door so it's easy to walk in to Fécamp in one direction or Yport (or even, for the stronger ones amongst us Etretat) in the other. Little traffic passes, the only noise we heard in two days was the birdsong. Lovely - and we shall be back when next passing through this area.

Peace, quiet and good food...

We stayed for three nights in this lovely Auberge (Logis).  The rooms were spacious and kept beautifully. Our hostess was brilliant and the food presented was fantastic.
On top of this it is situated in such a convenient spot, very peaceful and quiet but so accessible and close to so many interesting places.  A "gem" of a find.  Will certainly recommend to friends and we hope to return.

Woderful few days

We stayed for 4 days in the nicest Logis with the most fantastic host in Cecile whose cooking was truly great.  She is very professional and speaks excellent English which is useful for those of us whose French is not great.  THe hotel is right on Grand Randonee 21.  It is an easy and short walk into Fecamp either along the beach at low tide or along the cliffs.  Going the other way to Yport is a longer walk but not too difficult.  THe other day we drove to Etretat and walked up either side in the pouring rain.  We were lucky on the Sunday to see the 50m trimirans racing just off the beach which was interesting.  Very peaceful stay in a tiny village.

Fantastic stay

We stopped overnight here on our way to catch the ferry in Dieppe. Lovely location right by the sea in a very  quiet village within easy travelling distance of Fecamp, Etretat , Le Havre and Rouen. Very pleasant room which was clean and comfortable. Beautiful garden and seating areas. We had delightful home cooked evening meal and a plentiful continental breakfast. Plenty of parking and free wifi a bonus. Highly recommend . We would like to return for a longer visit.

A lovely stay in as all quiet hotel

A return visit since that a year earlier, see "Unptretentious and delightful Logis".  This time we were given a room in the main building but still with its own separate access.   The room was a little larger, as was the bathroom which had a good sized bath.  

On this occasion we stayed two nights and eat in on both evenings.  All my previous comments remain applicable.

This is a really nice, friendly place to stay if you are looking for a simple stop over.
