Very friendly couple with simple B&B and excellent Vietnamese food. Brigitte and Chheng are wonderful hosts and kept us entertained for Dinner as there is little around the area unless you have a car. Well recommended.

One stop on walking on the Nantes Brest Canal

Having read the reviews, it is with apprehension that I knocked on the door.  We were both exhausted after the gruelling climb with our heavily loaded bikes up the stony path. We were offered some fresh water and a bottle of cider, Brigitte then helped us carry our bags to our room.  For the evening meal, we devoured delicious Breton crepes with varied fillings, they only stopped coming when we had enough.  The wine and cider were also provided, on demand.  Breakfast was adequate with loads of fresh baguette and Brigitte even gave us some Breton cake for the journey. The room and bathroom were both functional if lacking charm, but then we don't all have the same taste.  So please judge for yourself, things have improved apparently.  I do think that the price of the meal is on the expensive side.

Give Brigitte a second chance

Small B&B (evening meals optional) We stayed here 2 nights on a cycle tour in June 2013. The B&B is listed as cycle friendly with lots of food for hungry cyclists. We arrived hot and tired and were offered only water to drink. 
We opted for the evening meals - these were expensive 25 Euros/head compared to eating locally at Josselin. 
Rooms good, no tea or coffee available in room, there was a kettle and teas in the hallway but we were not told itwas available to guests.
 BREAKFAST WAS THE SMALLEST PORTIONS OF ANYWHERE WE STAYED DURING OUR TWO WEEKS IN FRANCE. Bread was provided on a small board for sharing between the two of us. We were provided with two tiny dishes containing one teaspoon each of jam. 
Payment we asked for the bill and received a copy of original confirmation e-mail confirming dates (not prices) with Euros 300 written on it. This was 100 euros too much. We paid 200 saying I think this correct. The lady carefully counted the cash and looked dissapointed but had did not refer to her 300  euro request. This was the only place in France where we did not get a proper bill.
It has taken a year to get round to writing this review - because I am not in the habit of making reviews but this experience was upsetting. I will now write reviews on two other places we stayed - all positive comments.
