This is a charming B&B with rooms distinctively and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in Les Hortensias - good size with bathroom and separate toilet. Although it overlooked the road the shutters were effective keeping out noise and light and my wife, who sometimes has a sleep problem, had an excellent night's rest. Just what you want on an overnight stop returning from the Lot Valley.
The hosts - Micha and Philippe - were charming and thoughtful; Micha helped us find parking on arrival and Philippe served a delicious breakfast in the garden room. Had it been a little warmer we would have been able to use the pool but the garden is a beautiful example of what can be done, by experienced gardeners, with a town garden.

For us you could not find a better overnight stop on the way back to the Channel ports.

Charming B&B in typical French town

A very beautiful house with hospitable and very kind guests. A pleasant and quiet garden, a swimming pool and a crowded covered and closed garden for breakfast. A spacious, beautiful and well decorated room. A spotless bed. Everything is impeccably clean. The layout is well thought out and the finishes are impeccable. Go! Do not hesitate.

It's a very nice guest room. It's a very quiet place with a swimming pool. It's a nice little corner of paradise. It's a very nice place for Micha and Philippe Balbo. We had a very nice time.

Just a little bit of quiet.

The charm of the countryside in the center of town! House with 3 guest rooms on the same level, decorated with a lot of taste, plus a small garden attachment for the 4th room. Perfect bunk bed, impeccable cleanliness. No TV but wifi (not tested). Nice bathroom with shower. A small balcony overlooking the garden. A nice swimming pool, and an open breakfast room on the garden. The reception is warm. This guest room was reserved for us by friends and we found it really charming.

That's a lovely address

Who would have guessed that behind this big door, hides such a small earthly paradise...a small tree-lined and quiet garden...a swimming pool that we haven't had time to test despite the heat... our hosts are smiling and welcoming... our large room is decorated with tastes, very cozy.....the bed is very comfortable...we feel good...the breakfast is very copious..the products are fresh and the jam of house prunes is simply delicious....

A yearning for peace

It's a nice, warm home. The place is very clean and comfortable. If the weather permits, you can relax in a small garden with trees and flowers, there's also a pool to cool off. A peaceful haven in the heart of a small town. No noise. Much charm, I recommend.

Peaceful stay in Touraine

Cannot recommend this place enough - Micha is a suberb host, a lovely lady and makes her house your home.  We stumbled across this place on Airbnb and it was so much better than we could have imagined.

Fantastic place

For us it was a little piece of heaven. Being stranded with a blow-out tyre on a sunday nobody did do anything in France due to the EC final against Portugal we needed a place to spend the night. Found it thru tripadvisor and they had one spare room to offer. Not knowing what to expect we were blow-out ourselves when we entered the complex. Great house great garden nice pool good beds lovely breakfast and great hosts. Who also helped us get on the way the next day cause he contacted the garage and arranged things for us. 

Just wonderful

What a joy to have discovered le Figuier. The charming hosts Micha and Philippe were warmly received in German English French Spanish... in their tastefully renovated home. We had a very nice large room with a superbed and a nice bathroom. Everything is well equipped - there is nothing missing. The garden behind the house is beautiful and the clou is the heated swimming pool. The breakfast with homemade jam is delicious. The hosts are excellent guides to getting to know the area. Those interested in wines are also best advised. Thanks for the nice stay - we're back!

A Wonderful Place to Relax

We spent one night at Philippe's and Micha's B&B, in their "petite maison" (a little, private house). Everything was perfect: a beautiful garden, a nice and cool swimming pool and a delicious dinner, prepared by Philippe. We arrived by bike, with a baby and without reservation, but this was no problem at all. We had a baby bed, a highchair and even a changing station at our disposal.

Micha and Philippe are friendly and courteous hosts and interesting conversation partners. We very much recommend B&B Le Figuier!
