Carpark onsite. The most friendly enthusiastic and helpful host. A wonderful welcome. Unique retro decor. Lovely shaded terrace garden. Clean room, very quiet at night. Room small but imaginative use of space for ensuite facilities. Excellent shower. Beach towels available. Excellent breakfast; bread, pasties, yoghurt, fruit, cheese, cold meat, scrambled egg, coffee. Well-priced drinks. Just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest beach, 10 minute stroll along the seafront to the centre of town and numerous restaurants. Easy walk to the Bateaux Verte ferry for St Tropez. Highly recommend this fantastic little hotel with the best host.

Superb small hotel

A lovely hotel situated in a great location in Saint Maxime, only a few minutes walk from the sea. The staff were very friendly, thoughtful and welcoming, and sent us off with free coffee after we checked out, which was a nice touch. Facilities were clean, modern, well-equipped (fridge, air-conditioning, toiletries etc.) and very comfortable. There is a charmingly decorated courtyard/garden area that we could relax in. The free on-site parking was also very much appreciated. It was a bit funny having the shower in its own completely enclosed space, but it was still perfectly functional and comfortable. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back!

Charming and friendly hotel

Amazing location, a few blocks from the beach and walking distance to many, many great restaurants (beachfront or in the city). 

St. Maxime is conveniently located on the French Rivera and is driving distance from Port Grimaud, St. Tropez, Cannes, Nice, and many other awesome cities of that region. 

This hotel is very quaint, just a dozen or so rooms but very comfortable and affordable. 

Rooms: newly renovated rooms, A/C, comfortable mattresses and bedding, mini fridge, etc...

Breakfast available each morning (not complimentary but worth the price), fresh croissants and jams, yogurt, etc

A hidden gem!!

Just off the proverbial “beaten track” which makes this a quiet hotel. Beach Bars are a short walk away and is the town centre and many restaurants. The owner is absolutely charming,and looks after guests well. Highly Recommended. 

Nice quiet friendly hotel

As usual, research on TripAdvisor!  Just off the beaten track but within walking distance of the beach and town. The owner is super cheerful and helpful.

Parking is good as is breakfast in the garden.

Lovely airy room. Comfortable bed. Fridge to keep the wine cool. What more could you want?

3 night break on Côte d’Azur 

We enjouyed a great stay here.  We stayed for proximity to St Tropez, but Sainte-Maxime was a great place to explore -  it seemed a bit quiet during the day but is very lively by evening; the hotel is a pretty short walk from all the action and the ferries.  The host was excellent, able to help despite our lack of French, and was superbly helpful.  Would happily be back, excellent price for the location and in the high season.
