The room is very well located compared to the city center of Troyes that you can walk through from the house. Right home but the room is not fully ready (at 15:00) there are missing two pillows on 4 and only one bath towel has been put ds the sdb. The owner will add them later pdt our absence. The house is a little old, wifi is more than low, there is no parking inside the property this day, the door does not close, the blinds are difficult to maneuver the ch., ds the turquoise room the door does not close between the room and the sdb. And it seems that the owner is angry with the debris... if we put in the decoration of the miniatures he also forgets to get into the poultry for lunch, but he must not make the house, but he has to make sure that the room does not digest water.

Old-fashioned atmosphere

This is where you go if you want a friendly, down to earth bed and breakfast stay with a friendly host, nice sized rooms and free insight into the history of the town.  What for us was planned as a very clinical stopover between the alps and home ended up being a relaxing cultural diversion with a great breakfast at the hotel and an amazing lunch in town.  

Charming, charming, charming

I recently went with my family to Troyes. The BB has great potential both in terms of the garden and the exterior structure. The rooms are beautiful with fireplace, but the bed is really uncomfortable. Too bad everything is neglected and uncleaned and everywhere pervades the smell of cats roaring even while you are having breakfast. Breakfast is good but it is served on a table that is used even during the day by the owner and no tablecloth is put so much that on the plastic ceramic there are beautiful stains everywhere. Too bad because the owner is very kind and the place is clean and comfortable in the center but the little cleaning makes everything unpleasant.

L'Embellie is a charming Bed and Breakfast in a beautiful setting.  The hospitality is excellent, and the breakfast is delicious with fresh, local honeys and jams.  Marie is a gracious hostess. We highly recommend a stay here when visiting in the Troyes area!

Visit to Troyes

We spent the night in this charming guest room and enjoyed it very much: nice decoration, very pleasant host. We also enjoyed our breakfast. We also have easy parking and the guest house is close to the city centre, a 5-minute walk away.

a pleasant stay

As outlined on their website, a 'grand' French house on a very quiet narrow street less than a five minute walk from the railway station and another 10 to the city's main sites which include delightful narrow timbered houses and a solid cathedral with beautiful stained glass windows. The B&B's host is charming. The rooms are high ceilinged with plenty of space and large windows. The breakfast room also enjoys the same outlook from the floor below, a real log fire, the food great too with freshly squeezed orange juice and local cheeses.

Charming, with an unusually good breakfast

We spent only one night here, but the welcome was wonderful, and the room beautiful.   The breakfast was delicious, and we had a roaring fire laid just for us.   Helpful and flexible - can only recommend, nothing negative from our side.  Set in a traditional French Maison d'Maitre, in a quiet side street about 10 minutes walk from the town.

Excellent - thoroughly recommended

The gate is badly closed, the garden is poorly maintained, the garbage is dragging... fortunately the reception is friendly and the rooms are comfortable.

Not very clean.

We stayed for one night while visiting the are.  The hotel was walking distance to the center of town.  Our room was large, comfortable, and well decorated.  The breakfast in the morning was delicious and it was nice to chat with the owner and get tips about where to stay.  Our dog tagged along on this trip and was very well received.  A great find in Troyes!
