We spent 2 nights, Sunday and Monday (the restaurant was closed at noon and evening on those days). Very quiet environment, the hotel is in the middle of the fields. The pool was unfortunately covered despite the outside heat...The water was at 31°, too hot for us. The room was spacious and clean, very good bedding and a very convenient small refrigerator. Breakfast really leaves us a very good memory, price/quality ratio unbeatable. The very discreet but efficient presence of the manager is appreciated.

I'm pleasantly surprised.

Stayed here as two couples for four nights. I am surprised by some of the ealier reviews which are clearly out of date and do not represent our experience. This small hotel has a calm rural setting. The old house has been beautifully and stylishly developed. Rooms are well equipped with fridge, kettle, coffee makers etc. And in particular with comfortable beds and very effective air conditioning. 
As our stay was for Golden Wedding celebrations with friends who live nearby, we only ate in the restaurant one night. Our meal was well cooked and presented and included a range of fresh local ingredients. Breakfast each morning was a real treat and elegantly delivered to our table on a tray. 
Overall, fantastic value and I have no hesitation in giving le Melchior the highest recommendation.

First rate establishment

Nice quiet place, the restaurant has a nice terrace, the reception is warm, we went there one evening, there are 2 menus one at 25€ and another at 37€, we were surprised by the one at 25€ very good quality price ratio, nice presentation of the dishes, the quantity is enough for one evening, whether it is the entrance, the main dish and the dessert we were not disappointed, next time we will stay the menu at 37€, for the service it goes pretty quickly no long wait between the dishes, the staff smile and is friendly think to book.

I recommend it.

I've been praised and the wind has quickly fallen. Broken ribs, eels bathing in oil, cooking in a pan, in short, a real ordeal for our papillae.

Great restaurant with a good price menu. We enjoyed all the dishes we tasted very much, well presented with excellent raw materials. Beautiful location and very attentive and friendly service. I recommend this restaurant.

It's a great restaurant.

Very comfortable and very clean hotel. The rooms are spacious and pleasant. It is very quiet even the air conditioning is extremely quiet. The staff is very friendly. The table is excellent! We ate dinner at the restaurant and there again the staff were extraordinary despite a full terrace. The breakfast is very copious, juice, ham, cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt, nuts, dried apricots, eggs, bread be fried houses and croissants. We will be back with great pleasure.

Very good address to visit St Emilion. Very well located hotel with sea water pool, nice terrace, comfortable and clean room.

Family travel

We had just begun our aperitif that we were brought in our entrance but we willingly forgive the mistakes of beginners equally disappointed by the thousand leaves otherwise the correct price of the wines has been made again despite everything

It's a shame to be a little disappointed.

We are loyal guests of the restaurant. The kindness of the owners and staff. The excellent food a very good cuisine quantity, quality a delight every time and always the desire to stay until the closing so the setting is pleasant. Last night was an occasion to celebrate our 26 years of marriage. Thank you to all the staff and the boss for his smile and attention to us every time 😉

A good family dinner on the terrace in the shade of an umbrella with a birthday on the key. Menus offer a variety of dishes, a children's menu is available and the birthday party was celebrated with music and candlelight on the dessert concerned.
