Auberge de la Tour de Brison

We stayed in the family room, a twin and double room connected. The rooms were lovely and well laid out with access via an outside door leading to the two rooms (each with own toilet) and a shared shower room. We have two teenage boys and travelled with a spaniel and it was perfect and very comfortable for our needs. The rooms were quiet and cool with AC and shutters to windows. It is a family run hotel and the personal touch is evident, very friendly and very helpful with advice on the locality. Our dog was equally welcomed and we were able to eat at breakfast with her outside on the quite amazing terrace and also use the pool with one of us with her just outside the pool's enclosure, under the parasol from our room. The pools are superb with breathtaking views - all photos check out to the reality! It was never busy even though it was mid to high thirties and everyone was very respectful and quiet. We only ate breakfast, but it was varied and tasty and good value. The hotel was a good base for us to explore the area, the small old town of Largentiere is 10 minutes drive away and Bazaluc, a little further, were the highlights for us. All in all, a fabulous hotel, we'll visit again!
