Absolutely gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of town. Our room was spotless and extremely comfortable. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Plentiful breakfast and overall the perfect place to stay in Sarlat. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Wonderful

This is a really well situated hotel which looks like it’s been recently refurbished. Decor modern and interesting.
Staff extremely helpful.
Room comfortable with excellent shower. 
Did not stay for breakfast as leaving early but also plenty of cafes nearby.
Perfect location within few metres of the stunning mediaeval town.
Excellent value.
Highly recommend.

Excellent small hotel

A very clean and comfortable small Hotel right in the centre of Sarlat, great welcome from the receptionist.
Lovely room overlooking the main street. Car park about 6 minute walk from Hotel so no problem.
For France this hotel is very reasonable. Recomended.

Great small cheap Hotel

I was very pleased with this 2 star hotel. Very clean room and bathroom. Ideally situated to visit the city. Friendly hosts. Negative point is that it is almost impossible to reach the hotel on a Saturday as the local market is blocking the street from early morning till 1830. The only possibility is to park your car on the very busy public car parks and walk.

When we discussed timing of the breakfast and mentioned going to Grotte Font de Guame, the guy at the font desk recommended going without the hotel's breakfast at 7:00 am and heading for the ticket office as there are limited tickets and it always fills up well before the ticket office opens at 9:30. We did and he was right. We got in for the first tour and other people were turned away as the 52 tickets allowed were taken.
The hotel had an elevator (not all our hotels in France have them), the room was clean, the bed comfortable and towels changed daily (although this may be environmentally unnecessary) and was very close to the old town so that we walked to various restaurants and bars.

Good friendly hotel in convenient location

Receptionist sarcastic and quite unhelpful. Room clean but very small. Breakfast reasonably priced but barely adequate and have had much better elsewhere in France. Parking is free on the street overnight. Good location to visit the city and lots of restaurants to choose from but wouldn't stay again.

Could have been better

the corridors are dark with no natural light
overpriced for what you get

youth hostels have more comfort

We stayed here considering position and reviews. Basic is the best word I can use. Good position is it's only advantage. Rooms are basic, tiny TV thin pillows and towels and no soap provided (really??) . Walls thin also so noise transmission an issue.

Very ordinary

I was exhausted, and while dining within sight, I thought to myself, I'll just go stay right there. So convenient it is, it's right at the entrance to the old town, but that's about where the good part ends. The room was dark and musty, the floor is old lineoleum, the tv is up toward the ceiling and is very small, the pillows were thin, the bath fixtures were 70's, and the room was so small it was a challenge to find where to put my stuff. I didn't take a shower, I just wanted to get out of there. I made the mistake of adding in breakfast for $9. Don't do it. It's laughable, I had a $9 bowl of cereal. Parking wasn't an issue for me but I think I got lucky, as I arrived on a quiet night in October.
