Family stayed here foe four nights.  Really good air conditioning in bed rooms which open out on a terrace with seating outside.  Very comfortable beds and very good showers.  Lovely swimming pool and the setting is really nice on a ricer bank.  Loads of parking. Breakfast is really well presented by the host with fresh croissants, cake, yogurt, eggs, juice, coffee etc   Nicely located, far enough from main road avoiding any noise but very easy to access by car   Quiet place

Has everything

This is a lovely clean and relaxing place to stay. The pool is well looked after and is a blessing on a hot day, as is the air conditioning! Bright, comfy bedroom and spotless bathroom. Hosts Vincent and Sophie were fun, helpful and attentive. Great continental breakfast with fresh bread, fruit, cheeses and meats, served in the lovely gardens. Relaxing riverside setting.

Great place to stay

Rooms and decor here are a little tired, but the setting is peaceful in quite nice gardens with a good swimming pool. The pool is deep and not suitable for young children perhaps unless they are confident in the water. Our breakfast was served on a nice shady outdoor patio and was the usual selection. Comfortable bed and a sheet instead of the thick continental duvet, so it was better in the heat! Awful shower over bath.

Air conditioned comfort

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, a manor house with a river flowing beneath the windows of the garden rooms. We were there in winter but the rooms were wonderfully warm as were our hosts, who looked after us tirelessly. They even drove us into town when we needed a lift.
The owners are very involved with the history and heritage of Sauve and the surrounding region and have a whole library of books at your disposal.
