We already knew their restaurant from a few years ago, it was excellent and still is. We started our trip this time with them and stayed also in one of their rooms (with view on the church). The room was not large, simple but efficient, breakfast was good .

The restaurant on the other hand (try to sit outside !) is very good, excellent dishes, excellent wines, a real treat and good value for money ! We will be back.

For us a great start of our trip !

Nice restaurant with rooms

you do not have to walk up to "la roche de Solutré" to enjoy the best of it.
simple but very cosy room, spotless and well equiped. the nicest part of this hotel is
to patronize it restaurant. we had a very nice diner, the value for money is outstanding.
a "paté en croute" home made as you will find only in Bourgogne.
the "Turbot" was perfectly coocked and nicely flavored,I ended up with a traditional "irich coffee", wishing just to start again!
the breakfast is quite good and the service very friendly.
Obviously succesfull,some evening,the conversation might be a little bit loud if you want to sleep early...this is the place to complete yourwine education with
Poully Fuisse, Saint Veran and other"tresor de Chardonnay".

a superb spot for a superb weekend

We arrived in this out of the way town after visiting a vineyard in Clessé. Solutré is the home of Pouilly-Fuissé - a great white Burgundy. The hotel room are one or two floors above the restaurant.  There is no air conditioning, so you need to open your window.  That leads to two problems - mosquitos and noise from the street (actually the restaurant terrace) below. The restaurant, however, is excellent and the service is very good.

Quirky hotel above an excellent restaurant

Clean room, nice breakfast, great restaurant too. The hotel manager is very friendly.
The hotel is located in the midst of a beautiful wine region, 5min walk and you're surrounded by vineyards. We will certainly come back.

Charming hotel in beautiful wine region

Small but perfectly formed hotel. Sad to have spent only one night at this hotel. It is clear the staff take a great deal of care to ensure the rooms are spotless.

Stunning dinner too on the terrace.

Overall a perfect stay.
